We enjoyed our 5 day stay at Cloverdale Wine Country Inn & Suite. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The owner/manager was very nice in helping me change my reservation when plans changed. The maid was very sweet and did an excellent job. It is conveniently located and we had a nice view out our front window. Our room was very up to date, cheery and bright, we had lots of places to plug all of our electronics, nice big TV with many channels. We felt safe there. We will definitely stay there again and I wouldn't hesitate referring it to family and friends.

We checked in late and the desk was closed. Clerk came right out to serve us and we quickly had our key card, no problem. The clerk was pleasant. It’s COVID, so no amenities were available as you would expect. I did find it off that all booked rooms were on one side and the rest was empty. Not sure if that is COVID related or construction or what. They could have spread out guests more for sure.
The rooms were clean and basic. Way more affordable than Napa/Sonoma and about a 30 minute charming drive to Calistoga from there. We had a comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Our staff is well trained to make an enjoyable stay. The hotel is separated somewhat due to the use of rooms for our first respondents and wild fire respondents. We do not necessarily know when the fires will keep in and rooms will be needed. Look forward to your next stay.

Front desk young lady checking in guests was not friendly. Asked a couple of questions, and she handed me a business card and said call the owners. Room was clean and semi quiet. Checking out was easy and a pleasant younger man was working. The price was a bit high for what was offered.

After much research, settled on this property as they have 2 queen beds. Social distancing, not at this property. With a rather large property, everyone was put on one side, when it could have been spread more evenly throughout. NO hand sanitizer anywhere in sight.

Rude rude rude. Abrupt and seemingly angry desk clerk/owner. Apparently Covid business has not been down for this place and they can afford to treat people with little regard.

If you like being disrespected, by all means spend you hard earned money here.

The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are also very quiet and you are close to restaurants and bike routes. I would definitely stay here again. The only amenity I would add is instead of conditioning shampoo I would have shampoo and a proper conditioner for my long curly hair.

My cousin came from out of state flew in rented a car and headed to Cloverdale Wine Country Inn where she had a reservation for 2 weeks. When she arrived it was 11:30 p.m. and even though the website states they have 24-hour check-in service nobody was in the office it was closed and the lights were off. She knocked and knocked, at this time it's now quarter to midnight. They knew she was coming and yet nobody received her. After a long day she was exhausted and called me at near midnight. I explained to her to go to Motel 8 at the south end of town and hopefully somebody would be there to receive her so she could get some rest. When she explained to the customer service rep there they claimed this happens all of the time. I want other folks to know what might happen to them. This is not acceptable. The on-site employee is named Oscar. When my relative called in the morning to see what happened he dismissed her complaint and was quite "sweetly" rude. The general manager Sue Patel needs to know what's going on and has been going on for quite some time apparently from the numerous responses I got on Facebook's Cloverdale community page. Others have had the same issue when they've had family members come to visit. No one is in the lobby to receive them and nobody answers the door after repeated knocking. The receiving person is taking advantage of their position by not being available to nighttime travelers. I hope somebody reads this with the power to fix this issue. My cousin has been coming here for years and has never had this problem before when Sue Patel was running the hotel. Now Oscar is in charge of hotel reservations and being quite lackadaisical in his duties.

Clean simple room with all that we wanted for a short stay. AC works! Ice machine works! Bathrooms a bit small. The person working at reception was one of the kindest most professional I have ever experienced in a hotel or motel!

If you want a non-smoking room that reeks of cigarette smoke, then this "hotel" is for you! My family and I stayed here because our favorite motels in Santa Rosa were booked. We got to our non-smoking room and found that there was an ash tray with a pack of matches in it on the table. I was informed by the front desk person that yes this was a non-smoking room and that the ash tray was for people to put their spare change.(???) I was also informed that they have only two smoking rooms in the whole hotel and that there is really no reason to have smoking rooms anymore. Additionally there was 2 inches of dirty water in the bathtub, and hairs all over the throw pillows that were under the sleeping pillows on the bed. I personally did not want to put my head on pillows that are sitting on top of pillows that are not able to be cleaned. This hotel is NOT worth the money. The management does not care about customer service or cleanliness. If you want a nice clean motel in the Santa Rosa for a good price, I would recommend The Sandman. This is my first review on trip advisor.
