Very unpleasent check in with hotel clerk/manager. Apparently when booking by phone the dates were confused and she had me booked for the night before (Thursday) and leaving Saturday. I had in fact needed and asked for Friday thru Sunday. I recognized her as the one I spoke to and it was her word against mine and she was the... More

The facility was nice, the parking lot setup felt very secure, and the room was nice, spacious, and clean. The reason I'm not giving a higher rating was that the lady at the front desk made me feel like i was more of an annoyance than a guest. Not sure if she was just having a bad day or if... More

We spent the night here on our way up to the Ave of the Giants. It is centrally located in town adjacent to the freeway and very clean and friendly. The price is right the rooms, Roomy and with all the amenities you would want in a motel. Parking is adjacent to your room and it has a pool. We'd... More

My family and I were passing through and needed a hotel for the night. Stopped at this hotel on a Saturday evening of a long weekend. We found the rates were jacked up for the long weekend (almost double what we paid for a top notch Marriott Hotel in San Fransisco the night before) but since we were tired and... More

This place is a reasonable option for folks needing a place in the area. Nothing special, but clean, comfortable and well-priced. The room seemed to be newly renovated and was well equipped with a microwave and frig. I had a king room and there was plenty of space, a nice working area including a desk chair. Great shower head! Breakfast... More

Poor noise control and even poorer response from the night desk. Took six phone calls before the attendant would even pick up. After I explained the noise level, the attendant told me she would handle it. Well 1:00am came and went with no suitable resolution. Yes a second call was made and I was advised, " The guests could not... More

It was convenient to the winery that we had an event at. Gal checking us in was sort of robotic, kind of indifferent, didn't really go out of her way for anything. Seemed the hotel was fairly empty yet the gal checked us in a room at the back of the hotel that was very dark, almost to the point... More

I was a little hesitant about staying here as it seems it just changed from a Best Western to Cloverdale Inn and Suites ... plus, it's not too far off the highway. However, we were more than pleased with our stay. The reception staff was warm and welcoming and our room was large and very clean (one of the cleanest... More

This was a clean and quiet place to stay. It looked as if it had been recently updated with fresh paint. The shower/tub combo looked new. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not to my liking. My husband liked them just fine though. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was just so-so. Waffles that you could... Hotel was clean and fine. Pillows were too soft, even the ones labeled "firm", which were no different than the ones labeled "soft". overall location was good, next to downtown and easy access to US 101 freeway
