First, they don't answer the phone. We made reservations on line and on arrival at 5:10 PM the office was closed and the map showing our site was taped to the door. Second the drive in from 101 was long and torturous on 1 1/2 lane rough and twisting roads. The park roads are worse . We found our "Deluxe... More

I haven't camped in a long time. This KOA campground was great. Beautiful views and great resources. Both a fire pit and grill. With a mini golf, fishing lake, pool, nature trail, game room and general store. The yellow jackets were a little feisty... But it was a great experience... The natural life was also plentiful. Highly recommend for a... More

We stayed at quite a few KOAs during our country wide survey of National Parks and this was the least attractive. It seems a bit neglected and not as clean as most KOAs. Perhaps we were spoiled at other locations but I expected more in the wine country of California. It's on a hill so you have a decent view... More

Terrible experience! Trip was canceled short due to lice! We are KOA members and have never had this experience anywhere else. First, when we arrived at our cabin, the outdoor table and firepit had been rearranged and we were unable to park. We tried to move the firepit and it was full of ash, cigarette butts, and broken glass. I... More

If you have a dog, stay away. We had over 50 burrs from one quick potty break on our camp spot. Lady at office said to use olive oil to get them out. Now, that'd be a fine mess at a very dusty campground. There is a solid blanket of stickers on our site. No shade near us. Roads are... More

We went here without a reservation and luckily there were some cabins left. So we got one and it was very good. The cabin was next to a lake with a fountain in the middle of the campground and it had one large bed and 1 twin bed. The camping itself was clean and spacious. It also has a swimming... More

This a good KOA with a swimming pool, store & a fishing pond. Kids have plenty of room to ride bikes & run around. It's not the best KOA nor is it the worst. I would camp again here in the future if I was back in this area. This, like all KOA's is a far cry from real camping

After a narrow, rough, winding drive up into the hills, we arrived to find the door to the office locked, no one around, and no note regarding when anyone would return. There was a night registration box, but no information of the fees. A note listed back-in sites, but we drove around and not a single one was back-in. The... More

A pleasant surrounding but: at $75 (with tax) a night, this campground is not a bargain, in fact, in our opinion, it is way over-priced reaching "rip-off" level. The cabins' roofs have rotting shingles and crops of poison oak are abundant while walking the campground roads. However, we did not see any poison oak in our campsite. The showers were... More

Ten miles from HWY 101 to a beatiful setting. BEWARE road is marginal for big rigs and large trailers. Too far for one night. Paved roads will just accommodate your larger rigs. Sites are all gravel, leaves and mud. Rustic, rustic rustic! Bathrooms are older and clean. WiFi is NOT FREE which is rediculious!!! No cable and 3 over the... More
