Extremely dirty. My son was there for over a week and never got fresh linens or even the trash emptied from his room. The office people were rude and bullying. Not the cheapest, but by far the worst place we ever stayed.
Well, I must say that the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean, but: - No hot water in shower or sink even after we complained - Refrigerator does not work - Coffee at breakfast was cold, no concentrate in the OJ dispenser - Wall heater was super noisy and squeaked loudly - Overall really beat-up and dilapidated vibe Bad. Never going there again even though I have reason to go to Claremont a couple of times a year.
We were staying there for 2 nights. Can't say it was a pleasant stay. The hotel smells of weed, outdated and scary. I did not feel safe even going alone to my room. The room smells, furniture is outdated, bathroom is old. The best thing was that room had clean towels and fresh linen. I gave it 3 stars only because of facilities. The room has small fridge, microwave, coffee machine (with 1 coffee) and TV. Breakfast is very simple too: coffee, orange juice, toast, jam, butter, milk, cereals. Definitely won't stay there again. If only you want to save money and don't go alone at night.
Very disappointing visit. So dirty. I swear it has not been cleaned for 30 years. The smell in the interior was bad; like rancid oil. Trash cans all overflowing in the exterior and rotten food smell was strong. Dead bugs in the bathroom. Original doors partly broken and hard to slide, as were drapes. Single panes glass let in all the outside freeway noise. Unfriendly, unwelcoming, and surly person at desk. We got up at 3:00 am and left. Will never stay here again.
to start the staff was nice, but that is it nice the linens pillows sheets where clean and smelt clean. walked in the Rom the room stunk bad, musky old; the chain lock on the slider was broken; there where cockroaches in the bathrooms, the bathroom doir was filthy covered in dirt, filth; the beds where so hard painful, spoke with the managers ask them to take pride in the property, clean the carpets, invest in good beds, and clean.
