About 90 minutes north of San Francisco, this locale is perfect for any occasion. Just getting there, on a narrow road through a redwood forest, is special. Once there, whether just for brunch or for dinner, or for spending one night, a weekend, or a week plus, this peaceful, captivating, splendorous hidden treasure is a must. From the cozy guestrooms... We were so glad to visit the Cazsonoma Inn this weekend. Rich is really welcoming and kind to make our time enjoyable with a nice room with water fall look out from our window. This is a perfect place if you would like to relax and detach from the busy city life. There is one road way to drive into... More

Mixed feelings about this stay. Everything was very clean, main house is inviting. The owners are super pleasant, and went out of their way to mail my daughter a bracelet she forgot there. However, we've booked our stay over six months in advance - (we were traveling to a wedding held some 15 miles away) - and did not get... More

You have to drive a mile in on a dirt road through the forest and then suddenly this beautiful estate surfaces where you will have dinner in a ballroom-like setting. The land is breathtaking and the host is generous and warm. The food is not memorable, hence the lower rating. However, the scenery and setting is so lovely that is... More

This charming Bed & Breakfast lodge is located about two hours north of San Francisco, California. There is a main lodge with rooms upstairs and then two cabins near the main building. The meals are delicious and the ambiance is incredible. The owners are charming and sponsor many public events during the summer. CazSonoma Inn is open from May to... More

This place is amazing! I grew up in the area and came back to get married on my parents ranch in Jenner. My bridesmaids and I stayed the first night and my husband and I stayed the second night. The place was absolutely perfect. Rich the owner was so helpful and extremely kind. The breakfast both mornings was amazing. I... More

Stayed one night (we were their only guests) and enjoyed it very much. The host is charming, the setting is out of the way, and very serene and relaxing, and the food was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both very much. We felt the dinner was a pretty good deal at $30 each for four courses and... More

Looking for a truly unique and unforgettably charming experience? THIS is the place! A one-of-a-kind peaceful inn in the midst of a redwood forest. We read by its famed waterfall, hiked a rocky creekbed and waded in its clear cool water. No need to bring your own books -- the inn's library is superbly stocked for every interest, with special... Location is very special and beautiful. Second to that, we enjoyed most the innkeeper's conversation and the company of other guests. Breakfast a tad stingy. Dinner enjoyable as much or more from the innkeeper's description than in the tasting relative to the cost. Proprietor seems to be attempting to create formal European style landscape in front which seems out of... More

My daughter, 14, and I took a spur of the moment road trip and I chose this B & B for our first stop. The sign at the entrance - about 4 minutes up a dirt road - says "a work in progress" and this is true. The house is very large and in the older 50's lodge style that... More
