Clean & Quiet, Great location. I was lucky 🍀 only 8 rooms , someone canceled last minute. Great bed , lots of pillows. Beautiful at night. I would definitely return! We were right next to the beach, we saw the fireworks 💥. Never had to move the car , the whole time.

This is my second time staying here, the first time was five years ago. I love it just as much now as I did back then. The hotel seems very small from the street, but has everything you need to have a nice day at the beach. Every room is different, so make sure you look at the website to see what room will work best for you. Rooms range from small, to family suites with kitchenettes, but all are decorated individually, are very cute, and are very clean. They have all the basic amenities that you need, but don’t expect breakfast, or refrigerators/microwaves in all of the rooms. I am OK with this, because the property is very cute, clean, they have a great outdoor patio area and garden, and the prices are very budget friendly. I can always find a room at this great hotel in a bind, I know we will have a comfortable stay.

The owners are so nice and accommodating! Each room is uniquely designed with personality all its own! The garden behind is a great place to gather for wine, barbecues or just to relax! I will definitely stay there again!❤️ P.S. very clean!

The most eclectic, homey, friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Each room is decorated different and they are absolutely darling. Rebecca‘s garden in the back which has a picnic table, reading area, the most beautiful flowers, bird houses and everything wonderful in it. We were here for a family reunion and we will be back, absolutely love this place

We stayed in the Sunflower Surprise room, which was beautiful. Rick and Rebecca, the owner-hosts, were very friendly and helpful. Rebecca's garden itself should be a top-ten place to visit in Cayucos. Only two or three blocks from just about everywhere you'd want to walk in town.

This tiny 12 room motel is totally charming. Located right on the main street with an elaborate lovingly tended garden in the back overlooking the water. Each room has a fun name like Purple Haze, with hand painted decorations on the walls and a crazy collection of nick-knacks. The owner/operators are super friendly and full of suggestions of where to eat and things to do. You'd never stop here if you didn't know - but now you do!

Circumstances have delayed this review of our fifth visit to this truly delightful motel, which took place back in October. There's nothing new I can say! Except that Rick and Rebecca run as good a place as ever and run it with love. Next to their family, the Seaside business is their life. Please look back and see my 2017 October review for more ........then go there.

I've stayed here several times over the past 10 years, and have never once been disappointed! Rick is the best, and they keep the rooms and grounds pristine!! The back yard BBQ is awesome, they supply charcoal and lighter fluid, all you need to bring is the meat! I've stayed in about 6 of the rooms, including the kitchenette, and all have different themes, very creative! You're right across the street from a great restaurant (can't recall the name right off hand) that serves a delicious breakfast, and has a great lunch/dinner menu (american, italian and mexican!). Just a couple blocks south is the Sea Shanty, also great food breakfast/lunch/dinner, and the other way is town, about a 2 block walk...to the beach or the Tavern. Cayucos is awesome, a nice quiet little village that lets you unwind, and the Seaside Motel is the perfect place to lay down and rest after a busy day! Always quiet, and sitting in the back yard enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine while watching the ocean is the ultimate in relaxation! Enjoy!!

This small, quaint family owned inn is amazing. We came across the Seaside Motel after an Air B & B experience went wrong in Cayucos. Rebecca let us check in early because the room we wanted hadn't been occupied the night before. This allowed us to settle in and enjoy the whole day in town and on the beach. What we realized right away is that there are so many other guests who have been coming here for years. We now know why. They come for the personalized service and great vibe of the whole place. There are beautiful gardens and a patio area to enjoy the sound of the crashing waves and laughter of other guests. We just finished our second annual visit this past August and look forward to our trip there next year. Each time we have made new friends and enjoyed the hospitality of Rick and Rebecca. We can't wait to get back.

We love staying at Seaside motel! It's been our go-to for years in Cayucos. Can't beat the location (you hear the ocean at night), right off the main drag! Rick and Becky are the best - - not only do they take the best care of their rooms, they're the most friendly to boot! It feels like you're staying in a lovely B&B, without the forced friendliness! We keep coming back year after year because it feels like home! THANK YOU!!
