Had a beautiful room overlooking the sea. All the staff are very helpful nothing is too much for them. The meals were delicious. I would recommend this hotel all inclusive. As much as you can eat and drink.

This is a budget (for UK travellers) hotel. If you get a good price for all inclusive I recommend at my 4 star rating. It is a price conscious deal though, as I was expecting a good all round budget all inclusive and I wasn't disappointed - the staff were amazing, the animation team were amazing (for adults and also especially for children, who loved them; my partner and I do t have children but every night in the pool bar there was a children's 'Mini disco' and the kids loved it every night, and I know that they are also catered for throughout the day). I love the hotel location, perhaps 15 minutes from Lixouri by taxi which is €12 fixed rate to get in to town. I'd say if you're after a relaxing place to stay away from the bustle of a town then this hotel is perfect. There is a little beach very close with €6 for two beds and an umbrella, it's not the most spectacular place but is perfectly pleasant and we spent two days at the pool and 3 at the beach (we stockec up on cams of bear from town and replenished from our room as needed). There are other beaches in walking distance and other restraints and bars, but it is very much laid back, no hustle and bustle. The hotel is fairly basic in terms of its rooms, with no safe in our room, but A/C that works and beds comfy enough for me. The grounds are lovely, filled with flowers, and the pool, water park, etc are clean and well maintained. The food was exactly what I expected of an all inclusive for the price, so I wasn't disappointed and I feel a basic version of Greek food tends towards salad/veg, potatoes and meat, and that's what we got, and that's fine with me. One night we had rabbit in red sauce and it melted off the bone and was absolutely delicious, but at the same time many other options are available including fish and veggie options (I can't vouch for vegan) and there was always an Italian style section with various different pasta types, as well as your rice and chips and etc, so most people will be covered. Pudding tended towards different variation on cake, and there was always ice cream at the restaurant and pool bar. Some people we talked to complained about this, or that, but we paid a reasonable price and the hotel exceeded our expectations for the price. The staff make it, with everyone being really nice, friendly and helpful throughout.

After 20 months and 7 cancelled holidays we finally made it onto a plane and arrived for a week at the Ionian Sea. We had a great week and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean in all areas, nice rooms and good facilities. But what really makes this place so good is the staff - everyone is so friendly and hospitable. Andrea, Claudia, Eva & Pavel in the entertainment team will keep you and your little ones fully entertained. Water polo, volleyball, darts, shuffleboard , quizes and more will see even the most energetic guest through the week. Their evening shows are enthusiastic and funny. Don't expect high end choreographed events, but what they do they do well and you will be thoroughly entertained. The waterpark next door was an added bonus and we popped in several times for a couple of hours. 5 good, well maintained slides which will keep the kids happy for hours. Christophe welcomes you every mealtime at the door to the restaurant and amazingly after one meal he remembers your room number every time! Be sure to stop and have a chat - he's such a lovely man who never seems to have a day off! Food is of a good standard, fresh and tasty. My husband is a very fussy eater, but even he said it was some of the best all inclusive food he had eaten. Yes after a week it can get a bit samey, but that happenes in every all inclusive hotel. Ice cream was available every day from the bar - a nice touch. Bar staff were also always friendly and remembered your drink preferences. My only negative to the whole week is the fact there was no toaster for breakfast. I have never visited a hotel where you can only have bread with your eggs etc in the morning. A minor niggle in the grand scheme of things, but surely this would be easy to resolve without much trouble and it would certainly make the hotel complete. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance of the hotel if you fancy a meal out and its an easy 12 euro taxi ride to Lixouri if you fancy a change of scene. Please don't be put off if you read that the transfer from the airport is by ferry, we found it so much better sitting on the top deck admiring the beautiful views with a gentle breeze, rather than being stuck in a coach for over an hour. Very easy transfer both ways and the views made wonderful bookends to our holiday. All in all we were very happy with our week at the Ionian Sea - good food, good accommodation, all topped off with wonderful staff who made our stay memorable.

Arrived at this hotel in August, family of 4, for 2 weeks. Our room was a maisonette which, although relatively small, was very clean and plenty of storage space. Cleaners came every day and changed towels and bedding regularly. The complex has 2 swimming pools, a baby/toddler pool and a waterpark. We only visited the waterpark once, the kids weren't overly impressed with it and to be honest it was very worn and I'm guessing quite old! However, the pool areas at the hotel were lovely, there's a pool bar and the animation team ran various activities during the day. They worked really hard and I don't know where they got all their energy from but certainly one of the best animation teams I've seen. They also do evening entertainment which starts with a mini disco and then either a quiz, karaoke, comedy, etc. The restaurant was fantastic. Christos was always there to greet everyone on arrival and was such a warm and friendly man, he never seemed to have a day off but was always so happy! The restaurant itself is massive and there's plenty of food choice. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, lots of colourful flowers and shrubs, very well kept and clean. It is advisable to hire a car if you want to go out as it is in a rural area. The nearest shops are around 5 miles away. The beach is only 5 minutes walk and is a sandy beach with lovely, clear sea that you can walk out in forever before it gets deep. It was only 6 euros for 2 sunbeds which was very reasonable as we often only stay at the beach for around 2 hours. Overall, this is a really well run and clean family hotel with brilliant entertainment. I would recommend it!
