Upon arrival we were greeted by David who was extremely friendly and informative of the area and had many suggestions to set us about it the right direction. No, this Inn is not new and is not fancy. But it is clean, cozy and provided us a comfortable two night stay in the lovely town of Carmel. Breakfast was pleasantly...

We went through Carmel on Valentine's Day. Many options wanted extremely high premiums for a Tuesday night, albeit, Valentine's Day stay. Coachman's did not jack up their very reasonable rate. The location is perfect. The staff bends over backwards for you. The other guests were so pleasant that we all had a great time at breakfast. Breakfast was adequate and...

The room was average but everything else outweighed that. Friendly hotel staff, great location, afternoon snacks/wine, breakfast. Would not stay anywhere else in Carmel. The town has good restaurants, shopping plus the great walk down to the beach.

The Coachman's Inn was a lovely place to stay in Carmel. Small, homey and very pretty. Room was clean and nice. Great location in Carmel, close to water, restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was so nice, fritattas, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, etc. Afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres was lovely, nice cheese tray, fruit, 2 kinds of wine and very nicely done. You...

My husband and I visit the Monterey/ Carmel area twice a year and we do like to check out new places to stay. We initially had reservations at the Gosby House in Pacific Grove, a very lovely B&B (recommend it). However, when I realized that Four Sisters also has a B&B in Carmel, I changed my reservation to give the...

After a long drive from Yosemite, it was wonderful to be able to check in early. We had a downstairs room which was a bit dark but quiet. Not much view. The Coachman's Inn is so central to everything - downtown and the beach. We walked and walked everywhere. The microwave was a great asset to have in the room...

We stayed at the Coachman's Inn for two nights during our spring break in April. Right from the start everything was so much more than I expected it to be! It is located in a great part of town. Everything was walking distance. The front Desk staff was so welcoming, and helpful. We were given a map of the town...

Best B&B in Carmel. Friendly staff, clean and lovely room! Love the addition of sitting room and tables and increased happy hour appetizers. The breakfast is a new addition since our last visit. This is our go to place in Carmel.

We stayed at the Coachman's Inn for 2 nights as part of a road trip. It is good but misses on a couple of points. Pros: - good location, near the heart of the town - plenty of parking - great afternoon food and wine (really nice wine and freshly cooked food) - tasty and healthy breakfast included Cons: -...

We stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and had good recommendations for restaurants. They serve breakfast in the morning--tasty fresh-made quiches, fruit, muffins, and coffee--and they have a wine tasting in the afternoon with snacks and very good wine. We were able to walk to the beach, walk to shops, walk...
