Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and fantastic location. The view was amazing and parking was easy. A block away from everything, but quiet at night. A quick walk to the water and high enough to see the coastline. A great experience!

Excellent location in a quiet area, just a few minutes away from the main strip, 10 minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes walk the closest park (if you are traveling with a dog). I think I found my go to hotel in Carmel!

Website says free cancellation but they charged me for room I wanted to cancel even though hotel was not full and even though my party was already taking 3 rooms. Hotel had vacancies. They could have been more accommodating.

The rooms and quiet location are good. But some disappointments: Stale bagels for the first breakfast which I threw out, stale croissant for the second and last breakfast which I threw out, orange juice for both breakfasts tasted like from concentrate. This is a very expensive hotel, and if they charge those prices, they need to up their game. My first morning there the alarm clock went off and woke me up at 6am -- since I had not touched it since my arrival, I asked the hotel why they don't check the alarm between guests and be sure it is turned off -- they did apologize and said they usually do so. Finally I find their 4pm check-in disappointing (convenient for the hotel, not-so-convenient for the guest), and same with their 11am check-out. Something they do well is communicating with guests via text before and during the stay.

Hey Christopher, Thank you for your feedback and for lauding our peaceful location and proactive communication. We’re sorry your experience with our breakfast selection was not as noteworthy as many of our guests enjoy those offerings. Still, we appreciate your notes and will be taking them under discussion. To the other drawbacks you noted, we’ll continue to manage our resources in ways that allow us to maintain our attention to detail between guest visits, among other things. Our team hopes to better impress you the next time you’re in Carmel and welcomes you to be in touch if we can assist in making return arrangements. Wishing you the best!

The room was decorated with a lot of thought and had a zen like feel! Nice balcony with partial ocean view. Also parking was available and the hotel is just a short walk down to the shopping area. Highly recommend them!
