Great location, right in the heart of Carmel, walking distance to everything, beach, Ocean Road, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and shops. Thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay. Wonderful basket of breakfast dropped at my door each morning (fruit, yogurt, pastries and juice).

Very good bed and cozy room. Easy to find and to park a car. It was quiet at night. Close to the ocean and located on local main street, Ocean avenue. Good breakfast was delivered on time. I would recommend it to my friends, who plan to spend time in Carmel.

Make sure management is available when needed. We were kept awake for much of the night by an alarm clock in the vacant room below ours. Trying to contact management we got an answering machine. We were charged for 2 days although we gave notice after the first sleepless night. In the morning the manager was conveniently absent and the...

This is a very charming, beautifully done hotel. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We were delighted to find a basket with fruit and bars in our room upon arrival. They also have a beautiful patio for guests to sit outside and sip wine, read a book sit down by a heated log. Breakfast delivered at no extra charge...

I booked to stay here just one night on my long trip, but stayed for 4 nights. The town is charming, fairy tale houses, art galleries and stunning beaches. Also you can go from here to many places: Big Sur, Pfeiffer, Point Lobos, Carmel Valley, Acelomar, Lovers point, whale watching, acquarium, 17-miles drive, etc Room is not big and you...

Terrific location. The receptionist was wonderful - very welcoming and most helpful. Our room was disappointing. Very small and basic to say the least - guess I expected a little more charm. The room was clean. Breakfast was delivered in a basket. Minimal to say the least. Had to use the in-room coffee maker. Only enough coffee for one cup...

Our little room was on the ground floor of the Casa de Carmel and was what you would expect from a nice motel (not really a hotel) - small but clean, the sheets even had the mild smell of bleach. If you're in Carmel, you pay more for the basics. This place reminded me of that. The receptionist was incredibly...

My wife and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday here with our dog. From the time that I called to check on availability the Inn manager, Leora Sanchez, was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. She helped us choose between this property and their sister property located across the street. Both are small Inn's with unique character. Our room was...
