We were looking for a last minute somewhat affordable place to stay in Carmel (everything is a bit expensive) and found the Carmel Fireplace Inn. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a slightly larger room. The rooms all have fireplaces which are easy to use. The location is great - about a 5 min walk to multiple shops, cafes,...

We stayed in Room 25 (San Antonia?) for 2 nights in late July. The room is quaint, bathroom small but nice until I turned the duvet cover over and it was full (not one little spot) of blood stains. That ruined the stay for me. Of course, the room service changed all the bedding the next am and apologized and...

Room was cozy; bathroom adequate; fireplace was necessary and gave great warmth and romantic atmosphere. Don't count on terrific breakfast. Have to ask for the hard boiled eggs; can toast bagels and have cream cheese; fruit was limiting. Access to Internet was inconsistent and slow when it connected. I would find another place.

This is a very nice hotel in the quaint village of Carmel by the Sea. The room was clean and every one has a fireplace. Very convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Parking available and convenient. Staff was very nice. Breakfast had very few options.

My husband and just returned from a short stay here. We are very happy to discover this quaint inn. We stayed in the Lincoln room that is pet friendly as we had our sheltie, Lucy. The roo. Was very clean and roomy for us three. We were glad it had a mini fridge. We had a fireplace that we turned...

We stayed there a couple of years ago and I am looking at going back because they were very friendly with us and our 2 y.o. son. Even had old VHS with player in the room so we could have him watch a Disney movie or the first time while getting ready. the environment is very charming and the bedroom...

Cozy room close to shopping and restaurants. The area is quite and peaceful and the staff was very kind and helpful. Each room has a gas fireplace and the size of the room was perfect for the 2 of us.

For almost $400 you'll get a tiny room with a decent gas fireplace, old furniture and a carpet dating back to the 80s. Terrible ambience, more like a motel 6 on a bad day! NO TV channels worked properly, poor internet connection, terrible client service. No-one at the office or breakfast room before 8.30. Kiss your early morning plans goodbye....

We're a family of four and we stayed in the Torres Room, which fit us perfectly. Each child had their own bed, which drastically reduced the amount of whining. The room was spacious enough so we weren't bumping into one another, there was plenty of storage, and the fireplace is a lovely touch, even though it was too warm for...

A delightful inn full of places to walk, and thru the the summer awash with multi colored flowers in beautifully thought out landscaping. Our room faced onto a little square again filled with exquisite well cared for flowers (which get me every time). The room was pristine, peaceful and so pretty in an english cottage style. By the time they...
