We loved our stay at Saddle Mountain. Yes it is tucked away up on a hill but if you follow their instructions on how to find it you shouldn't have any trouble. We were in a 30ft RV and were able to get into our site just fine. The pool is huge with a beautiful scenic backdrop, there is a... More

This RV park is about a 10-15 minute drive from Carmel by the Sea. It's on the side of a mountain and the sites have full hook up. I think there are two parks right next to each other, this is the one you get to when you make a left further up the mountain. The other one seemed more... More

We stayed at this RV park with family friends. When they made the reservations they were told that we would be in a very secluded spot near the river. Ha, that is hardly what we experienced when we arrived. Driving up a very steep, narrow hill to find ourselves in an RV spot right next to the office and in... More

Customer service from the staff was completely terrible and offensive. We lucked out with a reservation for this place online but while driving in after dark, the road leading in (to Saddle Mountain AND Carmel-By-The-River park) was very long and poorly lit. The road forks and the path to Saddle Mountain is a hairpin turn vertically up the hill or... More

I would come back but only if I could get site 14 which is wider and has grass for our dogs. The sites are very small anything over 24-25 feet forget it. No large motor homes. Road going too and from very narrow also. There was a motor home sticking out into our spot. We had to leave late at... More

Had a great couple of nights in one of the cabins at Saddle Mountain. Very clean, perfectly equipped and heaps of room for us and two boys. Overall the park has great facilities and is quiet and clean. The cabin itself exceeded expectations and gave us the chance to eat in with the kitchen and BBQ well set up for... More

We stopped over in our campervan for one night. As it was nearing the end of the season it was quite quiet. I'd say if you have one of those monster rigs the road up is quite steep and narrow, but if you're in a motorhome you'll be fine. Lovely pool, amazing view over the hills in the evening, very... Very clean, well manicured camp that attracts families and many Europeans. We enjoyed our neighbors - good thing because they are right on top of you. The view from the front of our Airstream was blocked by a Class C for 2 days. I imagine the sites up the hill have better views, but at least our very cramped spot... More

Quiet at night, best view around. Get spot 35 for tenting. Free showers, clean bathrooms, dish sinks at restrooms. Pool is great, with horseshoes and badminton, hiking trails. On hillside with steep roads, so be warned of you don't like heights. Free wifi, and staff are wonderfull, would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful place to camp. Sites were quiet at night, offered wifi and hot showers. The bathrooms were very clean. Campsites were also clean. The steep roads leading up the sites were *fun* to drive on.
