Don’t even think of staying here. You will be disappointed. These accommodations seem really old and tired. We booked an "executive suite" with two beds, and were shown the Pine cottage, which was very small, had a depressingly low ceiling and only one bed. Not what we booked, and entirely unsuitable for me and my daughter. The front desk was...

I have stayed at the Green Lantern many times over the years. The location is perfect because it is an easy walk to the beach, an easy stroll to town, and it is in a quiet neighborhood. The Inn has retained its charm, but has been refreshed and given new energy by the owner. His staff works very hard to...

Want to get a taste of what it might be like to live in Carmel? Then stay a night or two here. This place fits right in with the village. Just a few blocks off the Ocean Ave. corridor, the property blends in perfectly with the neighborhood. If your looking for new and modern, then Carmel is not for you....

A beautiful B&B located just a few blocks from Carmel's main shopping and restaurant area. Comfortable and not pretentious with ample rooms (bungalows) and nice outside spaces where you can have a snack or lunch. Breakfast is very good (waffle maker a favorite of my 16 year old son) and we were offered a vegetable or ham frittata every morning....

Very happy with our stay. Comfortable bed, decent breakfast, awesome location in Carmel. Spacious room. We had Read reviews that mentioned the low doorways and shower heads. We are 6' and 6'6" soI called ahead and good thing. They had put us in a double bed room despite me making my reservation on hotels.com for a queen. So they changed...

Perfect location and perfect accommodation. The rooms have charm, the breakfast is great and the ambience is friendly. The room we had was clean and charming. We stayed for 2 nights a family of 4 from Norway. The beach is 10 min away and so are the restaurants.

The cottages at this inn are quaint but unexceptional. I'm only five feet tall and had to be careful not to bump my head in the Palm room. Location is excellent to walk to and from town. Shanandoah was a very vivacious and warm hostess offering all sorts of recommendations for restaurants and locales to visit.

We just came back from a two night stay in Carmel. We chose the Green Lantern Inn for our accommodations. Glad we did. Yes, this is an older place. One of the older ones in Carmel I believe. We had a great experience. If you are looking for a place that is brand new, caters to the "Don't you know...

Among many b&b at the wonderful Carmel, The Green lantern is a nice "small town" in town, it has small rooms and cabins with a tasteful deco, cozy as it can be, with nice personel at service. Breakfast is delicious, and a very nice woman helps you out with your plans for the day. Unfortunately the front desk is on...

“We booked a 2 room suite. The reason I gave a 4 star for sleep quality is because I had the smaller room with what looked like a futon. My other family members had the main room with a queen size bed. Their quality of sleep was excellent. I enjoy the fact this hotel did not require a minimum time of stay with such a short notice”
