We were eager to revisit the Lobos Lodge since our first visit was so comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and large. Everything was very clean. The inn is also in a perfect location for beach or strolling. Breakfast is adequate. I do wish they served coffee. But ask for a room above ground level, or you might have people... More

This place is halfway up the hill. Great for the beach. Great for the city. The front office is very laid back and both people who were at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They have coffee and cookies to help yourself to. The room was a nice size, vaulted ceilings and laid out perfect. Good storage. The... More

We stayed here for a weekend and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The sheets we discovered had holes in them and the bathroom shower head was falling off. The so called breakfast basket they bring to the room is awful. The worst part was that the people staying upstairs kept us upp all night by being drunk and yelling and... More

We have been staying at Lobos Lodge for over 19 years and have never been disappointed. The location is outstanding, the rooms are large, comfortable, well decorated and most have been newly updated. Each room has a fireplace and most have separate living space and balconies. Dave who works he front desk is very accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend... More

I have two complaints about the lodge. The first is that the pull-out couch, though reported to be new, was TERRIBLE. The bar that runs horizontally along the small of my back left me in great pain for the 2 days of my visit. If they must buy such cheap furniture, they should provide additional padding for the guests. This... More

We drove in to Carmel about 7pm without a place to stay, and chose this place based on the location - right on the main street, half way between the beach and the main shopping/dining area - and its charm. Rooms are in a collection of villas set among lovely shady trees and winding lanes. Our room was huge, with... More

We recently enjoyed a two-night stay at this Carmel location. Nothing but positives! Attractively furnished, well maintained and very comfortable bed. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice, quiet room. On-site parking.

We arrived mid afternoon to enquire about a room for the night. The manager showed us the small room available with a queen bed which was perfectly lovely, but he decided to upgrade us to a King suite due to some building work across the road that may disturb us in the morning. The suite had a king bed, sitting... More

The room was very quaint and lovely - words do not do this justice! The beds were extremely comfortable and the mattress was actually susceptible to sleeping on in front of the TV at the end of a long day of traveling. This room exceeded our expectations and we would love to book this place again if we are visiting... More

We stayed only two nights here, but the service was first class. Breakfast was delivered to our door at prearranged time. Suites are well maintained and spotlessly clean. The lodge is located about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach area and adjacent to the downtown shops and restaurants. The location affords you access to beautiful state park and famous... More
