At a friend's recommendation, my husband and I visited the Mission Ranch Restaurant to see the sunset from the outside seating. We had already had a late lunch at The Bench at Pebble which was awesome, so we weren't really hungry enough for dinner or the long wait to get a table. We sat out on the edge and had... More

We stayed for two nights in June 2016. We had to move rooms as they didn't have consecutive availability. Although we didn't like the second room, we were glad we had to move as the first room was so wonderful that we knew we would easily come back again (amongst all the other things to bring you back). We were... More

We had a nice 1 night stay at the ranch. We had a great dinner (beet salad with goat cheese and chocolate balsamic drizzle was awesome) at the restaurant while enjoying the piano player and sing alongs. An older crowd I'd say... Our accommodations were clean and affordable. Complimentary breakfast the next morning by the tennis courts was nice as... More

The restaurant at Mission Ranch doesn't take reservations so we arrived on Saturday night expecting to wait for a table. The piano bar was also very crowded so we bought drinks at the bar and sat outside at a bench over looking the pastures behind the restaurant. Once seated we enjoyed delicious steaks, sides, dessert and a nice bottle of... More

Got exactly what we wanted.....beautiful setting, great service, and casual feel. So much enjoyed the sheep and the grounds, everything was thoughtfully conserved. Hope this place stays for centuries, planning a return !

My friends and I went here on a Saturday night for drinks and food, but were greatly disappointed! Once we got there, we were told that the kitchen had closed early due to some event. We also were disturbed by a drunk leftover wedding party as they scooted multiple chairs past us into the corner, only to do it again... More

2 nights spent in Carmel - has dinner in 'top rated' TA restaurant on one night & Mission Ranch on the other. This place wins hands down! We were advised that bookings weren't possible & so ventured out somewhat apprehensively - we needn't have been. Invited to take a drink at the bar we did so & enjoyed listening to... More

The most beautiful place to stay. We had 3 great days there - and even saw Clint at the bar one night! Good atmosphere in the piano bar in the evening, wonderful surroundings during the day. Carmel tennis club on site and can be joined for $10 per day.Hire of ball machine also an attraction.

Mission Ranch is a peaceful retreat in Carmel, with glorious gardens, quaint guest cottages and an enchanting restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, and we were swept away by the ambiance, the room full of lively and happy guests, the sparkling live piano music. We were seated, thankfully, on the outdoor patio at sunset--& wow!--it took our... More

We stayed in both the Main Barn and the Honeymoon Cottage as we could not arrange two nights in the same room given relatively short notice. I was initially concerned there would be no view in either location, but that turned out to be unimportant as the whole property is so beautiful we simply strolled around more to take it... More
