The most beautiful setting, with gorgeous landscaping and a great romantic restaurant too. The one-way scenic drive just past the ranch to the left at the ocean is a great place to park and just walk along the ocean--the view of Point Lobos without the cost, and it's fun to look at the neat houses too. Like a mini Pacific... More

We stayed at the ranch, which we do annually for our anniversary. Never disappointed in the accommodations, scenery, amenities or restaurant. The food is always top-notch, but the short rib is a particular favorite! Oh so tender! The lounge is cozy yet vibrant, and if you're lucky you may just catch a glimpse of Clint Eastwood! Can't wait to go... More

We loved the traditional architecture and the wonderful location with great views. Our room was immaculate, parking is ample and convenient, grounds are beautiful and staff are cordial. Great breakfast served near tennis courts with choice of indoor or outdoor seating.

My husband and I love this hotel for its simplistic elegance. This is our favorite hotel that is a no pool, no resort, not pressure to do anything but enjoy nature, the surrounding seaside and upscale neighborhood. The restaurant dining experience is our all time favorite ever!!

We had a wonderful dinner at this lovely restaurant and the food and service were superb! The atmosphere was homey with an upscale feeling including the piano bar. The outside eating area is well heated and overlooks the ocean. Awesome place for dinner!

The ranch was beautiful, on the edge of the marsh bordering the ocean in Carmel. We enjoyed our room, the continental breakfast was okay, and the location was great, within walking distance of downtown Carmel. The restaurant at the ranch is a happening place! Food was great, lots of entertainment, the patio overlooking the marsh wonderful.

Beautiful view, mellow atmosphere, fine dining and drinks, comfortable room make the Mission Ranch our favorite place to stay in quaint Carmel. Sitting on our room's deck watching hummingbirds flitting, sheep grazing, and glorious sunsets over the ocean is a treat for those of us from the Midwest. Easy walk to the Carmel Mission or State Beach, and short drive... More

This is a beautiful ranch preserved by Clint Eastwood and it was in my bucket list of places to visit. My husband and I did not stay here but we explored this place when we spent some time at the Mission Ranch Restaurant. The place has a charming feel to it, due to the huge and spacious property. The cottages... More

Just spent a nice weekend at mission ranch....it could've been perfect if it wasn't for some rowdy guests..... I know the ranch has a policy of no more than 10 in a group but customers seem to have figured a way around this by booking taking tables of 6-8-10 in the restaurant, then walking around / talking over each other,... This ranch is a series of small cottages in front of a pasture where lambs graze. Just beyond the pasture is the ocean. Most rooms have a porch or balcony with wooden rocking chairs outside. There are tennis courts (where a simple self-serve breakfast is offered), a fun bar with a pianist and karaoke on Saturday night, and a nice... More
