We have stayed at the Sandpiper a few times. And were there last weekend as part of a family gathering. I wish I could give it an unequivocal recommendation. But, unfortunately, our experience was something of a mixed bag.

Great location near the beach. Lots of beautiful homes in this neighborhood. Breakfast was very good. Fresh fruits and a hot dish each morning. Our room was pretty tight, particularly the tiny bathroom but it was a fair trade off for the great location.

We saw several rooms when we arrived and they all had a private bathroom. We chose room 17 because it was in a quiet corner on the first floor. At night, with the windows cracked, you can hear the ocean in the room!
