This is always a lovely hotel. Wonderful staff and charming outdoor patio with lights at night. Food is excellent and breakfast is yummy. Great evening entertainment, singing, piano playing and more. Great location

The staff at this the Cypress Inn are unbelievable. They go out of their way to help. Katie at the front desk, we wanted to adopt and take home, she is such a pleasant person. Jimmy the restaurant manager, has made the food and service at this restaurant second to none. I had the salmon and it was the best...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Cypress Inn, a marvelous trip back in time to the elegance of the 1920's, but with all of the modern conveniences, of course. Some of the nicest, friendliest staff I've every encountered in a hotel. We stayed in the amazing tower suite to celebrate our 25th anniversary, reprising our visit 28 years ago,...

We really enjoyed our stay at the cypress inn. The hotel is beautiful and the location is great! It is close to everything but enough off the Main Street to be quiet. The rooms were beautiful and we were in a courtyard room. It was a little noisy though with other guests socializing in the outside common area. Debbie Davis...

They even brought coffee and breakfast trays to my room which was a king with a sitting room so that we could all gather and visit. Darlene who mans the breakfast service was precious and Joe the cook was amazing! Especially the pop...

Classic Carmel lodging, also best included hotel breakfasts I have had. Excellent location in downtown Carmel, bar/restaurant is cozy, yet sophisticated, with outdoor dining also available. Elegant common area with frequent live entertainment options. It doesn't make much sense to stay elsewhere in Carmel.

My wife and I knew that the Cypress Inn welcomed dogs before we booked, but the person who recommended the hotel said the dogs were all well-behaved. That wasn't always entirely true on our visit. Perhaps I should I say the dog owners were not well-behaved. (More later.) The hotel is a fantastic 1929 architectural jewel with a sensitively attached...

The only thing missing on our trip was our pups. The stay was great...nice staff, great rooms, very charming. Loved all the dogs and the atmosphere. Enjoyed some drinks by the fire while listening to live music! We will be back.
