    ...I always look for mildew in the corners of the shower, and none was to be found, however, the shower literally measures 30"x 30" and was ridiculously small given a nice tub and two separate vanities... There is no other on property restaurant open for lunch, and after two meals there, I can say food is subpar and they even charged $4 for a cup of croutons to accompany soup which I had to send back (twice, eventually comped) because wasn't hot and the crouton charge was removed after I expressed my shock at such a petty thing to do...

From $45 valet parking, once charged twice in one day & room service coffee in a paper box with paper cups... The Vue restaurant on site was very overpriced poor food served in a banquet room with ice cream parlor chairs... Those are basically your food choices other than the bar that was over $400 for 4 people each having dinner & 1 drink... One suite we had was $1200 & the other room was over $700 & there are many choices of resort nearby that know how to treat their guests... Nest time back to the Waldorf or Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel for the same money... To be fair they offered a 2 night stay certificate, but we won't be wasting our time off there...

    This was the BEST family vacation not just because the hotel and grounds are beautiful and picturesque but because the service is top quality! The suite we were originally given was facing the construction on the golf course and Michelle at the front desk not only changed our room very quickly, she upgraded us to a villa at no charge to ensure our stay was even more amazing!... She was so nice and checked on us to make sure we were Happy... Margarita at Bar Traza was so sweet to our family, and she had no problem accommodating our toddler, who is a picky eater... The pool staff was so nice as well, always making sure we had everything we needed...

In addition, the full kitchen and laundry are an extra bonus... When Hurricane Hillary became an issue for the area our group decided to leave a little early and Tanner at the front desk was more than reasonable... He allowed us to check out in the afternoon and credited us the full amount for the previous night... We all honored his deadline for getting out of our rooms and finished the afternoon at Bob's Steakhouse after packing up... I cannot thank the staff enough for their superior hospitality and the amazing stay at the resort!...

    ...We are repeat customers at La Costa, and for good reason - whenever we go, they treat us like royalty and make a extra effort to make us feel at home. Even when they mess up (and they do occasionally) they more than make up for their foibles with extra effort and a big smile, going above and beyond, from the front desk and guest relations, to the Manager, Patrick, and the food and beverage manager who are always soliciting input, to the guy at the coffee shop who gave us a second slice of coffee cake because the first one wasn't quite warm enough...

    From the moment we arrived in our rental car, we were greeted by expedient and courteous staff members at the valet desk. We were offered a cart ride with our luggage, and we were simply taken care of like royalty... The front desk staff, who checked us in, were equally friendly and willing... Every day, no matter who we were in contact with, and even if passing by on the sidewalk, gave a friendly greeting... The staff at Vue, Traza, the Marketplace, the golf shop, and everywhere else, were simply exemplary of any great hotel/resort... There's some very good people here, and this made all the difference... As such, it was the staff that assisted us that made all the difference... Overall, La Costa, in our perspective, is as consummate as any resort I have ever enjoyed, and then some, with the special x factor being its staff...

When Eddie with Valet Services found out I had an early morning flight, he immediately put the wheels in motion so my 3am departure the next morning would be flawless...     From the moment we pulled up to a valet welcome, then coming in the grand entrance and being warmly greeted by the front desk staff, we’ve had a tremendous vacation. Every meal we ate at all three restaurants were notable in their selections and quality and particularly their staff interactions... We came to celebrate a birthday and had special treats and recognition of the milestone throughout our stay!... Exceptional service was given by Sam and Claire at the front desk, Madi at the Spa, Star at Traza, Michael at Vue, and Antonio at Bob’s Steakhouse... Others were equally gracious and helpful... We give this an enthusiastic thumbs up and a promise that we’ll be back...

    We have been coming to the Omni La Costa for about 7 years, a couple times a year... However, what really keeps us coming back is the staff... On this trip we were checked in by Teslan, Geneve, and Isabella... They made is feel welcomed from the start... There was some confusion on the requested rooms and they happily accommodated us... Teslan expressed that the rooms we were switching to needed to be touched up and it would be a few minutes wait... We arrived to find some very thoughtful gifts that the girls delivered themselves... They really took the time to make us feel welcomed but then went the extra mile to make is feel like family... It seems that every time we stay at the Omni La Costa there is a similar experience... Our family looks forward to the next trip and we just really want to thank Teslan, Geneve, and Isabella for the incredible service...

One suite we had was $1200 & the other room was over $700 & there are many choices of resort nearby that know how to treat their guests... To be fair they offered a 2 night stay certificate, but we won't be wasting our time off there...

I had a massage in the spa on Saturday, it was absolutely amazing, I highly recommend Gudrun, she’s fabulous... The amenities included at the spa were awesome, sauna, steam room, pool, jacuzzi, showers, and if you forget a comb or razor, don’t worry, they’re provided too... We ate at the Vue for breakfast and dinner on Saturday, breakfast was so good, that we had to try the dinner menu too, it did not disappoint... They have free WiFi for the guests, and their WiFi was great... I’ve stayed at other places, and the WiFi has just always lagged, not here...

    ...The water in the shower didn’t drain and took three times to have it resolved... The bartenders were nice, but felt like one them kept trying to upsell every drink... The cocktails were average, but the bar was busy so maybe they were able to provide full service... The food at Vue was very good, but the waitstaff was never around when needed...

    My daughter (age 6) and I had the best visit!... She loved the water slides, and was tall enough to enjoy the large ones (with a life vest, which was provided for free)!... We come every November, and each year Terry (our valet) has been exceptionally helpful...

    ...The service was great although they probably should have two bartenders on the weekend... It took about 20 minutes to get someone to come up to fix it... Sunday morning I called for breakfast... I called back to get my check out time extended... I had to call 5 times before someone would answer... Breakfast was brought in a to go container with plastic knives making it challenging to cut up the bread for the breakfast Benedict (also not on the menu, but a friend is a member & told me to just request it)...     ...This is a shout out for the VALET staff at the Omni La Costa. During my flight to San Diego, my bag did not make it on my (close) connecting flight, so the airline took my destination information and told me it would arrive by noon the next day... In checking with the valet staff, I learned some of the details of when the bag was likely to arrive ("we are usually the last stop on the delivery route, so probably not until late in the day")... Went back to the hotel when the delivery driver called to say it had been dropped off... It had been taken directly to the front desk, but valet were able to find that out and retrieve it for me... How refreshing it is to deal with people who are truly interested in serving you in the way that is best for you!...

    Tired, and in dire need of general maintenance. First room dripping air conditioning and soaked bathroom floor Called front desk waited 45 minutes for someone to answer and then was disconnected... Faucet loose from sink and shower head drips... I applaud the general mgr at front desk for attempting to resolve this issue... Be careful what you book as it may be less than expected!...

    This was the BEST family vacation not just because the hotel and grounds are beautiful and picturesque but because the service is top quality! The suite we were originally given was facing the construction on the golf course and Michelle at the front desk not only changed our room very quickly, she upgraded us to a villa at no charge to ensure our stay was even more amazing!... Margarita at Bar Traza was so sweet to our family, and she had no problem accommodating our toddler, who is a picky eater... The pool staff was so nice as well, always making sure we had everything we needed...

    ...We tend to love to splurge on resorts when we travel and go for a place where our 3 kids under 5 are easily entertained. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff especially valet/concierge were always so friendly and accommodating... The shower drain was not working well and backed up while showering and overall there were just a lot of things you’d expect better of four a resort of this class... The kid splash pool and water slides were a great hit but the pool area is limited in size for busy summer days and unless you get there early in the day you’re unlikely to get any pool chairs, it was just hard to not feel like someone was always on top of you... We did find the garden pool to be a nice spot later in the days... Room service and cocktails on site were great, we also enjoyed pizza from market one evening... Overall we’d pick elsewhere for our next stay and would expect a lot more out of a 4 star resort...

    ...We are repeat customers at La Costa, and for good reason - whenever we go, they treat us like royalty and make a extra effort to make us feel at home. Even when they mess up (and they do occasionally) they more than make up for their foibles with extra effort and a big smile, going above and beyond, from the front desk and guest relations, to the Manager, Patrick, and the food and beverage manager who are always soliciting input, to the guy at the coffee shop who gave us a second slice of coffee cake because the first one wasn't quite warm enough... Oh, and the facilities are great as well, and pet and kid friendly (although I hope they hurry up and finish the golf course renovations)!...

    From the moment we arrived in our rental car, we were greeted by expedient and courteous staff members at the valet desk. We were offered a cart ride with our luggage, and we were simply taken care of like royalty... The front desk staff, who checked us in, were equally friendly and willing... The staff at Vue, Traza, the Marketplace, the golf shop, and everywhere else, were simply exemplary of any great hotel/resort... Plus, it should not go unnoted that the resort overall was very enjoyable... We loved Vue, Traza, and the pool & hottub!... Our room (suite) was spacious and uniquely laid out... A great campus to walk, as well... We were there as a group/convention, and so we got to experience and enjoy the convention facilities, too...

    A good spot if you have kids, especially little ones. Adult pool and spa separate from family pool with nice slide... Grounds well maintained and landscaping is kept up and colorful... Here's the scoop on the room: We had a suite, generous size, usual amenities (coffee bar, minifridge) and clean... Furnishings could all go away... Nest toiletries, with dispensers rather than little tubes in the shower, a nice nod to a green planet, but the shower gel barely could lather and it seemed almost as if it had been watered down... The gym is good, lots of equipment and clean... Shoutout to Michelle who helped with our mattress and to Fernando who escorted us from reception in golf cart with our luggage to our room...

    Stayed at the Omni for a business conference... The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your stay... After a long day traveling from the east coast, Matthew at the Vue gave top notch service to an exhausted traveler... When Eddie with Valet Services found out I had an early morning flight, he immediately put the wheels in motion so my 3am departure the next morning would be flawless... I would definitely recommend the Omni, the eye they give to detailed service is impeccable...

    ...The inside outside of the lobby- needs and update but the staff is well aware of that and does their best to make guests comfortable and meet their needs... The Cliff Drysdale tennis program is still wonderful with daily clincis, several hard and clay couts available and several top line pros for lessons... They also now include pickleball which is a big hit... We are looking forward to returning again especially with their newly rennovated rooms... The staff cares about one's guest experience and works hard to ensure a wonderful stay...

    From the moment we pulled up to a valet welcome, then coming in the grand entrance and being warmly greeted by the front desk staff, we’ve had a tremendous vacation. Every meal we ate at all three restaurants were notable in their selections and quality and particularly their staff interactions... We enjoyed the gym, the pools/hot tubs, the golf, the spa (an unexpected, first-ever, pleasure), and the grounds are expansive and beautiful... We came to celebrate a birthday and had special treats and recognition of the milestone throughout our stay!... Exceptional service was given by Sam and Claire at the front desk, Madi at the Spa, Star at Traza, Michael at Vue, and Antonio at Bob’s Steakhouse...

    ...When we were conducting our research on resorts, we ended up with Omni since the pickleball courts drew our attention... Claire from the VIP check-in was so nice... She made us feel welcomed and gave us a couple free drink tickets... I wish I remembered everyone else's names but literally all the people at the Omni were nice and helpful... The in room coffee maker was a beast - inconveniently placed and didn’t work half the time... Skimpy on towels and bath amenities... I think when restaurants are open room service can come with real cups & breakfast on plates... The tennis center was closed the 2 times I tried, one golf course was closed so times were tough to get & the yoga classes did not go on without any reason or notice...     I stayed in the La Costa Villa, which was beautiful. It overlooked the pool, & I was a short walk from the adult pool as well as Bob’s Steakhouse (phenomenal)... There are tons of activities to do as well on the resort... Complaints: there were no waters in the room even though there was a coffee maker... Lastly, they charge $35 a night for self parking, which was not indicated when booking...

The resort was lovely. We took a cardio/sculpt class on Saturday morning in the Studio at the gym. The class was fun and a good workout. Our inspector was adorable. We stayed and did the Deep Stretch class with her as well. Resort staff was super friendly. We had a very nice weekend.

The Omni La Costa Resort & Spa has one on the prettiest and well maintained landscaping of any hotel I’ve been to in recent years. The architecture is also lovely. The front desk staff, concierge and restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating.

My daughter and I returned to Omni La Costa for the 7th year for a mama/daughter trip and it didn't disappoint! She loved the pool, the waterslides, the resort activities for children, the hotel room and ordering room service. I loved that we can share a great experience together without a lot of planning and running around. The resort is beautifully decorated for the holidays when we visit (always around Thanksgiving). The staff is always AMAZING. Colleen, Terry, Jason, all the lifeguards on duty... everyone was wonderful. We were welcomed with a chocolate ball with a small hammer to break it open (it was filled with candy)... my daughter LOVED it! The resort is perfect for kids of all ages. We started coming together when my daughter was only a year old. The little pool was perfect for her! As she's grown, she's been able to experience new features (the small water slide and, now, the larger water slides). It's easy to spend the whole day at the pool.

My husband and I stayed for a night to celebrate his birthday and as always, the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa did not disappoint. From the delicious food at Bob's Steak and Chophouse to getting around the resort in their golf carts (Thank you Porter, he's awesome!) to the awesome adults only pool area, we always have a great time. The service was exceptional. We are from San Diego and love to come here for short trips since it feels like a getaway but we don't have to go far. We've come with the kids also and there is always something for everyone!

The staff is amazing! Jose at The Vue, Jesus at the pool bar were especially lovely in tending to our group! Our exit was made super easy by valet/bell person who picked us up in a golf cart, took us to our car, helped with luggage and gave us the most helpful tips to get to the airport easily! Food was great, rooms comfortable and property is gorgeous!

Attended a conference here. This resort has the best customer service, hands down! Every person I spoke to went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. Walking around the property, all staff greeted us with a smile. The food was wonderful at the restaurants. (Conference catering was ok, but not as fabulous as the restaurants) I would absolutely look to have another conference here.

Overall really nice. Staff is great. Very friendly. Hotel very nice but could use a little upkeep to make it a 5 star review. The toilet was dirty and there was a good size chip in the tile of the shower bench. Broken light fixture in the hall. Asked upon check in if I wanted to decline housekeeping services in exchange for giving a meal to a family of 4. So if I want my room cleaned then some family is going hungry? Not going to do that.

Great location and property. It’s important to note that they are doing renovations to the hotel rooms. We were in rooms that were not yet renovated and it’s easy to see that updates are due. One point worth making is that we had breakfast at The Vue restaurant, which has a great view of the golf course. But a flock of birds would descend on tables once patrons left to eat and drink anything left on the table. It was both amusing and somewhat horrifying. You may be better off back a few rows from the edge.

The location and quality of my experience was excellent. The food during the business event was phenomenal. The highlight was the quality of the customer service from the fitness instructors (Celica was amazing!) to the food service professionals to the front desk. I will return for personal travel in the near future to maximize my experience in the future.
