This is a large resort with a lot to do. They are family friendly, and are practicing social distancing and it appears very clean. The views of the ocean are great, when the fog hasn't rolled in. We found it interesting to watch what was going on in the flower fields outside. I only wish our visit was during the flowering season.

If you need a getaway from the crazy world around you this is the place to check in. We stayed 7 days and didn't want to leave. We swam laps in the adult pool, bike riding, boogie boarding at Moonlight Beach, great restaurants, tons of hiking trails for all levels, foot massage, ping pong, awesome sunsets, shopping at Premium Outlet mall, short drive to San Diego and La Jolla and the list keeps going on and on. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfy. It was nice being able to make our own meals and enjoy time together.

We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the flower fields. We had no trouble with noise at all. It was very interesting to watch the work being done on the fields throughout the week. The room was in very good shape. Nice to have a balcony. Excellent walking paths and beautiful landscaping throughout the complex. Very close to Legoland and Costco. Our room could have actually slept 7. It was a two bedroom, two bath. Both baths had tubs. Three TVs! Great fitness center. If you are thinking you can walk out your room to the beach this place is not for you. You need a car, Uber or hotel shuttle. We used the shuttle several times and found Ivan and John to be excellent. Lobby is nice, several areas with BBQs, a basketball hoop, fire pits, and a nice kiddie pool area. Front desk staff for the most part are extremely helpful and friendly, especially Mark, who goes out of his way to be helpful. Would definitely return.

Most of the rooms have a great view of the ocean and the flower fields. Just make sure to request the west side rooms locations. Also a quieter place is on the 3rd floor. All rooms have a complete kitchen so cooking is made easy especially with all the needed tools to make it a really fun experience. They offer free shuttle service for rides to the beach, local grocery stores and in case you want to splurge, rides to the best restaurants. Great adult swimming pool with private veranda's overlooking the beach and a separate location for The Child's Pool area. Full of water slides and many water activities for kids to really have fun. Underground parking too. Call for reservations early as it is always in demand. Enjoy

Spent 4 nights with my 8 year old son! Fantastic family pool with fun activities every day! The units are super clean and beautiful. The service was outstanding from the time we checked in and throughout our whole stay. Very friendly and service oriented staff. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely return for another family vacation.
