Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be our new vacation destination when we travel to California. The staff was friendly and attentive. The facilities were spotless and the food and beverage could not be better. Overall perfect location.
We have traveled extensively and have stayed in many luxury hotels. The Park Hyatt Aviara is easily in the top 5 of the best hotels we have been to. Gorgeously kept grounds. The room is well maintained and the balcony with coastal views is really amazing. Our one week stay is great - every one of the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and the live music on Wednesday night is a plus. We enjoyed our walks around the lagoon. The beach is about a 45 minute walk. As globalists, we felt very well taken care of. Hyatt is the best. Highly recommended.
If you want to feel pampered and special, this is the place to put on your to-do list. The Park Hyatt Aviara has top class amenities, with attention to detail that is second to none. You will love the rooms, the meals, and the personnel. Everyone, from the bellman to the concierge, to the receptionist, to the housekeeping staff, to the hospitality hosts, is attentive, professional, and eager to assist you. It doesn't get better than this!
My parents wanted to celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary with a bit of a staycation. From booking our rooms (thanks Danielle R!), to valeting, checking-in, our experience was wonderful. Danielle made every effort to make our stay memorable. Upon checking in - my parents loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the property. Once they got settled in a welcome amenity (celebratory prosecco and fruit) and very nice card wishing my parents a happy anniversary really kicked off our staycation with a bang. Exploring the property my parents kept commenting on the wonderful greenery, landscaping of the property and beautiful views of their room. We made reservations (thanks Morgan!) at Ember and Rye the restaurant on premises and had an unforgettable meal. Again - we were welcomed with complimentary prosecco from our waitress to celebrate their anniversary and had a wonderful meal (make sure to get the Richard Blais steak sauce). All in all - a beautiful hotel and great experience from booking to check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.…
This hotel has been through a transformation and it shows! Great resort lobby and upgraded rooms. The staff and food were amazing.. in most cases. The SPA... STAY AWAY. Not at all worth the 5+Star prices they are charging. I paid nearly $1,000 for a couples experience (and upgraded to a deep tissue) and it was little more than a mediocre couples massage (not at ALL deep tissue) and use of a hotel room with a private hot tub where guests from the upper floors of the hotel could look right down on you! NOT AT ALL the quiet relaxation suite I was picturing. DO NOT waste you $$ on the spa at all (SKIP!) but the golf course, grounds and restaurants were all top notch.
First time staying at Aviara and was blown away by the level of service from the staff. Every employee I encountered, in any capacity went out of their way to greet me and make sure I had everything I needed, or pointed me in the direction of who can help. Great Job!
My daughter wanted to visit Legoland and my husband likes to golf...hence, the reason for our destination at Park Hyatt Aviara. We stayed for about 6 nights and soaked in every inch of the hotel. As a parent, I always appreciate small things that make my life easier and are thoughtful; this hotel is all of that. Everyone working here is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel makes you feel like you are in Hawaii. The landscaping and vegetation is off the charts. I kept taking pictures of the massive leaves because they were incredible. The hotel sits on a hill so there was a constant breeze that was so relaxing. The hotel room had a sliding screen door (which was a 1st for any hotel I have ever stayed at) which let fresh air in and was life changing. My daughter loved the water slides and splash pad, The hotel is very child friendly, even down to having swim diapers for the littles and available sunscreen. Having water stations around the hotel was incredible as we do not use plastic water bottles. The only issue I continued to have was the hotel "store." I continued to order food and each time, it was horrible. I ordered 4 different pizzas and each time, they were totally raw. Another time, I ordered several salads, and the chicken was rock hard. It didn't ruin the stay, but I do like to access quick serve foods at hotels, and it was weirdly disgusting each time. There were so many additional things we loved, but it was well worth the price. We also booked with Katie Dillon (la jolla mom) and she was a great help. We will be back when my daughter needs her Legoland fix:)…
Every person went out of their way to be helpful and were genuinely nice. The room was very clean, with a great coffee maker and hot water kettle. Beautiful hotel and great golf course. Will stay there again.
This hotel is expensive. And popular. Every time my wife asks to go, I say no. And every time, she wins. And after we get there, I don't want to leave. From the moment we get there, the valet guys Lance and Tom always smile at us and welcome us back by name. We go once or twice a year, so it's not like we're there constantly. Check in is always a pleasure, as their front desk guys are amazing. Rooms are spacious, clean, and new as the place was refurbished in recent years. As busy as they get, it rarely seems crowded. The food is good, although not great. I'm not an expert here, though, since we have friends in the area and tend to go to restaurants in Carlsbad or Encinitas. The atmosphere is really a relaxed luxurious feel that just really feels like you're in another place. Every employee is friendly and helpful. Great place for families, with things for everyone including golf, spa services, a pool with a huge slide, and a great bar that they have live music in on certain evenings. My daughter did s'mores at the pool one night, while they were showing a movie outdoors. Just lots of things to do if you wish to. Bar has great selection of beverages and even their little sundry store is full of things to buy. I hate that I love it here so much, but it is definitely worth your time and money.…
When we arrived for our stay, the moment you got out of the car it was pure heaven. We were treated like VIPS from start to finish. The room was amazing and a beautiful view, the dining experience was special at both restaurants. The golf staff was great as well, Aviara took care of us !!!!
