Checked in late in the evening, and in spite of being hardly occupied the rate offered was the rack rate. Then came the bombs..., wifi was very very week in the room, AND, NO TV CABLE. They blamed the electric outage due to a severe storm that had just passed by, but at least they could have offered a discount...

My wife and I were on a driving holiday around Uruguay. We had no hotel reservations, just grabbing what we could get when we could get it. This hotel is located by the beach, near the border with Brazil. I reserved our room over the Internet, based solely on their photos and description. Bad move. This hotel is not hard...

This hotel is gradually being updated, the basics are there. Nice big rooms and large common areas surrounded by manicured lawns and a few friendly and not so friendly dogs. Food is good and substantial breakfasts. Good place to stop off en route.

Friendly staff. Good place to rest. Food very tasty. There was a dog that was also very fruendly and playful. There are two swimming pools, one outside and inside, so there is no excuse, bring your bath suit.

A delightful hotel, a bit dated like many things in Uruguay, but beautifully situated in extensive manicured grounds, with three pools, and a short walk to a magnificent lonely beach. If you've just come from the border, this is a wonderful place to clean off the dust and luxuriate in lovely surroundings with attentive staff and decent food for breakfast...

We spent one summer week in Parque Oceanico and overall we enjoyed our stay – although we would have appreciated if the hotel improved certain areas. Location of this hotel is great. It’s set in beautiful palm’s park with direct access to 2miles long nice sandy beach. The beach is great for walking and jogging, perhaps bit less suitable for...

We were advised by friends to stay at this hotel. It is about 60 km after the nearest beach I new, and 25 km to the border with Brazil. Since we were in Punta del Este, we decided to risk it. What a wonderful surprise. The hotel is nestled between lovely trees and a very large farm. There are two...

The Good: Laid-back, family-friendly hotel in relaxing natural setting. Beautiful grounds and helpful staff. Decent value for the money if you consider that the price includes half board. !0% discount for cash. The Bad: It's an hour and 20 minutes away from La Paloma, which is only bad if you were expecting to be closer. Not a 4-star hotel by...

The hotel is located near La Coronilla, a smaller town than La Paloma. If you are planning a vacation in a secluded place surrounded by nature, as we were, this is a great place. But if you're looking for a mixture of relaxation and bars, restaurants and clubs, La Paloma is a much better choice. The hotel's infrastructure is great:...

The location of this property must be revised by Trip Advisor. It is not, as noted by others, but not corrected, in La Paloma. It is not near La Paloma. It is just west of the tiny village of La Coronilla, at Km 312.5, on Ruta 9, the Uruguayan coastal highway running to the Brazilian border at Chuy, approximately 18...
