I was part of an organised tour and stayed at the Olathang hotel for 3 nights. It's close to the airport but you don't hear any airport noise. You do hear the river, but that is quite pleasant. You get dogs barking in the distance but that isn't a problem either. The rooms could be better lit but that is...

The staffs were very polite and helpful .The rooms were clean and spacious. Although the bathroom was very small. Mini Bar was not available in the rooms. The food was fabulous !! Wifi was only available in the hotel lobby with excellent speed.

This is the oldest hotel in Paro and has an enormous wooded campus. The cottages have a lovely view over the valley. The food and service is excellent and there are many spaces for meetings, bonfires, etc but the pathways are poorly lit and the cottages need to be renovated. Lack of wifi in the cottages is also a drawback....

Little far from the heart of the town within the lush pine forest. Excellent view of Paro valley. Plenty of open spaces. Excellent landscape within the property. We stayed in Deluxe cottage facing Paro valley. These cottages are best. Restaurant is really big and spacious. Food is good. We could not find any reason to crib about the service. Service...

This hotel is built on a traditional way. It was actually built as a guest house for the royal guests, and later sold to the Bhutanese tourism dept. Rooms are traditional, but comfortable and cozy. Here is the overview: Pros: 1. Very nice restaurant, good food. 2. Best staff in Bhutan (I stayed in Thimpu, Paro and Punakaha). Very warm,...

Needs serious maintenance. .Rooms and facilities are at a standstill since 1974 and nothing has been changed since then. However it has a beautiful courtyard with beautiful flowers and good location from the city.

we checked in to the double bedroom where only one reading lamp was provided.Probably they thought only one guest will read! the general lighting was poor as incandescent lamps were used instead of LED or CFL lamps. the breakfast and dinner were nice. the surroundings were pleasant. The location is not suitable to cover all tourist spots

The main building is stunningly traditional outside and seems very comfortable inside. However much of the accommodation is in cottages, also miniature grandeur, in the extensive grounds and some are several minutes walk from the public rooms in the main building. The cottages are comfortable with efficient services but slightly rustic in nature and decoration/fittings. Wi-fi was only available in...

The hotel is spread over acres of land comprising of greenery and its aura. The hotel itself is quite majestic and I heard it has modern rooms on its 2nd and 3rd floor. I was allocated to a cottage/suite in the middle of the greens. The suite had two bedrooms and a hall - living area. The rooms are just...
