Paro was the last town we visited on our tour to Bhutan. After spending two days each at Thimpu and Punakha our stay at the Tiger Nest Resort was quite satisfying. We did have a couple of issues like very low pressure in our bathroom tap and defective hot water distribution but overall ok. Due to these issues we had... More

I visited Bhutan 3 years ago. Stayed at this hotel for 1 night. A descent hotel. Nice view from the hotel. You can watch the Tigers Nest Monastery with a telescope. Food was ok. Vegetirian only though. Overall a good place

Traditional-style buildings in a picturesque location, but still a bit than walking distance from Paro or the Tiger's Nest itself. We were part of a tour and stayed two nights. Our arrival was a late one, but staff managed a decent buffet-style dinner for us and dealt with the baggage promptly. Our room was pleasant, but with quirky electrics and... More

Nice hotel with large rooms, television with cable, nice bathroom. It is a typical Buthanise style. People from reception and restaurant very kind. But be carefull, because the food is only vegetarian. In the hotel, besides the main building, you can get the mest massage from Paro, and also the special bath with hot stones, wich is very good for... More

During my holiday in Bhutan I stayed twice there. First time it was oversold and they placed me in a staff room. Room had to be made ready first which means. During the first night the food did run out. During the second stay, room was prepared but power failure for a long time which impacted no warm water to... More

Stayed with my family for two nights from 11th to 12th Oct. Awesome location but very poor service. Though there is a menu we cannot have food as per our choice. Their food items are restricted to a small piece of paper where items are hand written.Rooms were not cleaned though we put the tag in the door and informed... More

.... but the hotel is currently not managed to its best potential. The staff do and try their best and are friendly, but it feels all disorganised. E.g. no cold beer in the bar, no bottle opener until they realised that you could use the room key to open beer bottles, breakfast available from 7 AM started late at 7.15... More

A review is always tough. It's a personal experience, and that always has a context ! Let me try. If Bhutan is your destination, then Taktsang Monastery is a must. But in my view it's not just "seeing" ; the experience is significantly more than that. And to get that experience, location is everything. From that perspective, you probably cannot... More

The room was equipped with a king size bed and the wifi worked all the time, which was really good as compared to other hotels in Bhutan. However, the shower thermostat was too difficult to adjust, it's either too hot or too old. Also, on one instance, we hanged the "please clean up room" sign before we left for our... More
