Let's talk about the hotel surrounds. Because it's tucked up on the hill, the van had to go through unpaved narrow roads but that's ok. You get to see the village houses. You get the feel like you're one of them and not out in some fancy resort property. The hotel featured 2-story dwellings sprawled across the estate. We had...

Upon arriving at Bhutan and having planned the entire trip ourselves we had split our 7 days stay in Bhutan into 2 parts i.e. 3 nights in Thimpu and 3 nights in Paro. First half of our trip was in Thimpu and it was an amazing experience with the stay and interacting with the locals. The second half of the...

We stayed here for three nights, again after along drive. Our room was big and clean, though a little scruffy in places. We were given an electric blanket which was very welcome as it was -4 outside. On two nights we ate at the restaurant buffet, which was varied and excellent. We even ate come cakes. We also had the...

Room is quite big and cosy. But it is very cold as the heater not strong enoug to heat up the whole room. The toilet heater wasn't working as well. The drain gave up weird smell at night. The food is nice though. Service was good too.

The room is spacious and the resort itself is cosy, the road to there is not so nice and it is a little bit far from Paro center. I recommend it as a place to chill and relax, but if you want to walk around it is not an option.

We stayed here for a night. The rooms are gorgeous and the service is impeccable. Their spa treatments are good too. Although it is slightly off the main shopping street in paro, you will not mind the distance. We only had the breakfast, and they really did a great job since we asked them for quite an early breakfast.

This resort is situated a little away from the Paro town. The rooms are large and spacious. Room heaters were provided both in the living room as well as the bathroom. The food was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They attended to all guests without any fuss and in a very professional manner. Overall, it is a...

For starters, the service staff were very friendly. When they knew that I was going to check-out early the next day, they offered to settle my bills early. They also offered to pack us breakfast so we can consume it on our way to the airport. The lady boss was very friendly. She was a Malaysian and understood what Singaporeans...

We were put in this hotel by our travel agent for 3 nights. All of us were impressed by the Asian food the lady boss prepared, and she really put her heart to prepare different food everyday. Not to mention; the BakKutTeh she cooked for us. Both the bosses are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Oh... there...

Room is good ; a plus point is there is heater in the bathroom :) . Food is ok. Location wise near to Paro town. Not so much of view from the room. Only thing, the road travelling into Metta might need to be upgraded.
