Drukasia, our travel agent arranged us to stay in this hotel for our last three nights of Bhutan trip. After few days having local bhutan cuisine, all of us started getting bored and eat less and less during the trip. Before our checkin to hotel, our tour guide Lhawang has notified us that the hotel owner is a Bhutanese man... More

Not exactly in Paro town, only a 45 minute basically flat walk into town. It is very quiet. Aided in the fact that the rooms are in chunks of 2 or 4 separated through the property. The rooms are huge! There is a sitting area and a bed area. There is some coffee and tea, along with an instant kettle... More

Had actually visited in Oct 2012...We were dead tired at the end of a mammoth road trip to Bhutan from our home town in Assam. We didn't have any bookings but the owner was really kind to give us a room at 8 pm in the night! We were so hungry & tired that we thoroughly enjoyed the warm dinner... More

This spa is located in the middle of nowhere ( at least, to me..). Having said that, I don't think there are hotels designed exclusively for tourists from outside of Bhutan near the central area of Paro.... ( I passed by Meridien, even Meridien is located far from Paro town). There is no kiosk-like in/near this hotel. Don't forget to... More

Though rated 3-star, feels like at least a 4-star accommodation, located a 20-25 minute drive from the town center. The resort is tranquil, sprawling, and rooms are housed as chalet-like units, with living room, cable TV, big bathroom, hair dryer and yes, the beds are comfortable and clean. The place is also well landscaped and flowers and shrubs in almost... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. Pros Relaxed & pretty ambience with well maintained garden of flowers Room was spacious, q clean & well equipped Restaurant buffet menu has multicultural spread, has variety but spread is not complementary Accommodative meal timing; we had to take breakfast at 530am to catch our flight & the restaurant could serve a full breakfast... Spent 3 nights at this resort. Service is good, rooms are decent and nice. Food is definitely more international fare, certainly better than the few places I've been too. This is a award winning TripAdvisor hotel but a shame with wifi. These days an award winning hotel or resort must have decent wifi. Wifi is generally erratic and slow.

I expected so much from this property but for little things I was disappointed. Especially food for vegetarians. The strict timings of meals. The dinner ended at 9 and post that the staff couldnt offer anything in restaurant until we requested the owners. The similar incidence happend over breakfast where we didnt have anything to eat tht didnt include eggs.... More

The resort is surrounded by mountains & provides a majestic feeling. The Super Deluxe Rooms are good but the deluxe rooms are just average. There was some construction going on near the deluxe rooms so it was noisy. Only drawback is Wifi is only available in the lobby & not in the rooms. Overall the resort is good & the... More
