We originally selected the Carlyle Hotel based on price and convenience. What a surprise to find such lovely European accommodations within the greater San Jose, CA area. After spending five nights in this marvelous hotel, we have absolutely NO complaints and can't begin to enumerate all the positive features. It was all perfect from the courtesy underground parking to the... More

My name is Vinny, I have been staying here for over a week now. Business buying and selling movie collectibles and comics keep me moving around from city to city and hotel to hotel. It's been 4 months now and out of the many hotels I've parked my head at this one has really impressed me. Most of all the... More

First of all, I've stayed at this hotel around ten times, and outside of the comfortable room, and convenience to my business partners, the customer service is EXCELLENT. Dezerey is a cute, really friendly young lady, that's always smiling at the front desk. And Rosa is the same, always smiling, and will go out of her way to help you... More

I really wanted to like this hotel. It is reasonably priced for the area, and it isn't just a cookie cutter chain. The lobby and hallways are nicely decorated, and the free continental breakfast was par for the course. The bathroom fixtures appeared to be relatively new. That said, there were just too many issues with my stay to recommend... More

I stayed here with my daughter for three nights to be near Santa Cruz without paying beach rates. The hotel is conveniently located for the highway to the coast and to the many restaurants in downtown Campbell. Nice outdoor patio if you are on the 1st floor. OK breakfast in the lobby in the AM. Helpful staff.

OK..I was forced to look at "other options" when the major chains were booked on my recent trip to San Jose as I needed to stay in Campbell, CA due to executive management dinner I was asked to attend. The walk started when I strolled through the main doors and was greeted by two statues of naked woman with the... More

We stayed here 8 nights while our son was moving to the area to start a new job. I chose this hotel because of the reasonable price as compared to other hotels in the area. Everything in our room worked. The beds were comfortable. We used the refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and had a working fan. The room was... More

So this place is interesting. The lobby has a great feel. It is nicely furnished with what appears to be old Victorian type furniture. The rooms are okay, they have nice beds and the furniture is nothing special. The location is weird. The intersection between 17 and Camden is a very busy one and the hotel seems to be right... We couldn't figure out this hotel. It had unusual furnishings and decor. It was ok for one night and met our needs: free breakfast, free parking and free wi-fi. Staff was pleasant. Hotel was convenient to Los Gatos.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel recently because we had medical appointments in the area. It seemed safe and decent according to reviews...but it was not. The front desk man was kind and polite....at first. I had to call him to ask about the lock. He said the chain on the door was obsolete and to use the... More
