We booked this area for our engagement party. It's a small outdoor space that was able to comfortably fit 80 people, which was very helpful during the pandemic. Emily, the manager, was very easy to work with. She replied to emails very quickly and was able to accommodate everything that we asked for. Everything went smoothly the day of. Israel, who was in charge the day of, was also very easy to work with. He communicated really well and helped us with anything that we needed. I would definitely book this place again for any outdoor events that we may need.
Do not look past the Hilton Double Tree of Pruneyard. I held an event here, utilizing the beautiful outdoor spaces (about 60 ppl). Not only was the hotel accommodating to my short timeline, they were also very affordable and reasonable for all that was provided. I was especially impressed with the staff. Emily helped coordinate my event, zooming, phone calls and emails prior to the event, and then during she was joined with a team of smiling faces. I didn't feel any stress the day of, because they all pitched in. The hotel provided a lot of furniture and props so I was not overwhelmed with rentals. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, accessible and inviting. The rooms were very nice, and hotel staff very sweet and professional. If you have looked at this for your trip or event - seriously consider making this your place! It was in perfect proximity to anything you would need.…
Nice clean room, loved that it was easily accessible to the restaurants and shopping courtyard. Very quiet and had no problem getting in and out. The location was perfect and easy to get too. The option of masks was no mask if fully vaccinated.
My family of four stayed at this hotel for five nights to attend my oldest son's wedding. He had the bridal suite on the 3rd floor and myself, husband, son and daughter shared another room at the other end of the 3rd floor. We were very pleased with so many aspects of our stay. This was still during COVID restrictions, so there were some inconvenient yet anticipated restrictions. We wore masks in all public areas. There was only one elevator functioning and only one family allowed on at a time, so we either took the stairs to the third floor or waited for our turn. (The stairs are at the far end of the corridors and not central in the hotel, so not particularly convenient). Pool time was book in hourly blocks - we reserved one in the evening which we cancelled and one on the morning of the wedding which we used for a relaxing break before the festivities began. The fitness room was kept locked, but the front desk always opened it when requested. There was no breakfast buffet nor any packaged breakfasts offered to guests during our stay. They did have their extremely delicious warm chocolate chip cookies available. Daily, I stopped by the front desk and requested that afternoon snack! Rooms were cleaned upon request. We asked for one cleaning during our stay which was handled very promptly. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We had several changes to our reservation during our stay, even necessitating moving and then canceling an extra room for one night. The did not charge us for any of these changes which was very much appreciated. We requested and received extra pillows, blankets and towels. We exchanged the towels with the housekeeping staff when we saw them in the hallway. In addition to the friendly and responsive front desk staff, their function manager, Jonathan, who helped us with our room reservation prior to our visit, was very helpful as well. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. With all our special occasion clothes, we had lots of luggage for the four of us and everything fit with room to spare. The wardrobe was too short for our long dresses, so we kept one of the luggage trolleys and hung them up there during our stay which worked perfectly. We used the in room safe, fridge, the iron/ironing board and the hair dryer that were all complimentary in the room. This hotel was in an extremely convenient location. It is part of the Pruneyard Plaza. There is a back exit from the hotel that leads you out to the middle of the plaza. Without having to move our car, we were able to eat all our non-wedding focused meals at the Pruneyard. This plaza had places to relax and other shopping as well (Trader Vics for some room snacks, Marshalls, a book store and a bike rental shop for use on the nearby Los Gatos Bike Trail). There is a fun selfie station in the lobby and some seating in the lobby and outside in the back for relaxing. Although this hotel is not luxurious and could use a little updating, it met all our needs and we would definitely stay here again.…
The location is top notch. The room however is whack. We got the suite. It was very large. They did not fill the room up with anything special. It echoed because it was so large with nothing “extra” added to it. They should have added extra furniture to justify having that space. I would have been better off getting the smallest room.
