North Canyon Inn is a honeymooner's paradise! We got married at a venue just a few minutes away and not only was the location convenient, but the Inn itself was so dreamy, intimate, and special. The rooms are clean and gorgeous with newly remodeled showers! The best part for my husband and I was waking up to the most delicious breakfast - an Apple Hill crumble and savory quiche - that hangover cure worked like a charm. Thank you again to Mike and Fran!

I almost don't want to make this public as the Inn books quickly -- for good reason. But Mike and Fran were amazing hosts and the breakfasts were out of this world. Wine in the evening poured freely. The setting in the fall is magical. Wish we could have stayed longer. Until next time!

The beautiful house is nestled in a forested ravine, keeping the premises cool and quiet. Our room (Ponderosa Pine) was spacious, and we enjoyed the king-size bed. The hosts -- Fran and Mike -- are terrific, and they promote an easy conviviality among the small number of guest. The only negative is almost a positive: there is no WiFi, so you are thereby encouraged to relax and unplug.

This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Apple Hill every fall! Fran & Mike have created a beautiful, relaxing, comfortable retreat! The accommodations are spacious and homey. They have the perfect treasure nestled in the woods! They are located in a great spot close to the local farms, wineries, breweries, and restaurants. We have been there as a couple and a s a family! Fran makes an amazing breakfast each morning! This is a great place to come even just to disconnect from the world! There are no TV's in the rooms which we love! There is a TV in the family room,; but I highly suggest you never turn it on! We are proud to say that Fran & Mike have now become our friends and we just love them! We would absolutely recommend North Canyon Inn Bed & Breakfast for your stay! We will be back again next year for the 6th time! Jodi & Keith Gardnerville, Nevada

My husband, kids, and I stayed here for a quick one night getaway, what a find! The home is beautiful and the two rooms we had were perfect, with a Jack and Jill bathroom separating them. Mike and Fran were so hospitable, with a nice happy hour on the deck, and amazing homemade cookies. They were even kind enough to let our kids feed their koi fish while we were all outside talking. In the morning breakfast was amazing, just ask my 8 year old who cleaned his plate. To be honest, I am not sure who enjoyed the stay more, my husband and myself or the kids. We will definitely come back, kids or no kids

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while touring the California foothills' apple and wine production region. Great location in close proximity to just about everything you'd want to visit in the area, and a beautiful former home that the owners have converted into an excellent place for visitors to the area. The owners, Mike & Fran, couldn't be more hospitable, made us feel completely at home, and made delicious breakfasts every day. Will definitely return to stay here the next time we're out their way.

Mike and Fran were wonderful hosts. They are very thoughtful and detail-oriented and it shows! When I arrived, they introduced themselves and gave me a tour. The place is well-maintained inside and out. Mike is a builder/ woodworker, so it's infused with his artistry. They have water, coffee, tea and creamer easily accessible in the dining room downstairs, as well as a place to relax indoors and play board games. Their back porch is screened-in, which is great because otherwise the mosquitos in this area will eat you alive. There are lots of comfortable seats, and a day bed! For less mosquito-y seasons, the gazebo looks inviting as well. When we came back late in the evening, romantic music was playing in the house, which set a lovely mood. The room itself was CLEAN, luxurious, and welcoming. The shower has two heads! And a heater! And a place to sit! It was fantastic! The next morning, Mike served us a delicious breakfast made by Fran (I am stealing her recipe ideas because hubby loved it). They even accommodated his lactose intolerance. I hope to return for our anniversary or other special occasions in the future!

Fran & Mike gave us a warm welcome, making us feel right at home. They prepared paleo friendly breakfasts for us that were outstanding! In the evenings, they offered wine and dessert, and weather permitting, a gathering in the gazebo. We couldn't have asked for more gracious hosts or 5 star accommodations! We will definitely be back.

This was a great find! We stayed at North Canyon Inn while visiting Apple Hill for the first time. The room, house and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Our hosts, Mike & Fran were really nice and we enjoyed getting to know them. They serve a delicious breakfast at 9am and wine & dessert at 8pm. There's just a few guest rooms so it was a nice, small group when everyone is seated at breakfast. It's a very short drive to all the sights at Apple Hill- we even took a quick trip for cider donuts before breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Fran and Mike are wonderful warm friendly hosts who made our stay extra special. Their home is lovely, clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is truly gourmet quality. The setting is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet getaway in the woods. We visited in the Fall but it's a spot I would return to any time of the year. Fran and Mike truly make it feel like a home away from home!
