We had a last minute schedule change and found this local El Dorado Bed and Breakfast and booked two nights. Historic area in Apple Hill. Care taker employee is very sweet and lives on property. Room#2 upstairs with a private bath was perfect. This was our first bed and breakfast as a couple celebrating 27 years of marriage. Beds were... More

I was here for 3 nights. This is one of those hotels from older times that is currently run as more of a B&B. Clean, comfortable, quiet and big on hospitality due to the current innkeeper. Refreshingly void of synthetic surface and t.v.. There's a big common room on the first floor for eating and sitting and doing any work... More

Was the perfect place for our weekend visiting family... room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. My only tiny complaint was the noise... it's an older building with creaky floors and thin walls so if you're neighbor next-door or upstairs snores like a chainsaw, you'll be hearing it.

Charming, clean & quaint. This is not a fancy B & B, more rustic.Decorated with antiques and items that reflect that Camino was/is a logging town. A kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, home made cake and muffins, etc. We stayed in the #1 bedroom upstairs that faces the road. This is a large room with a small bathroom. Bed... Stayed there this past Saturday night. We were lucky and had the whole place to ourselves! I have stayed here in the past years and years ago and can't really remember what it was like then. This B & B was scrupulously clean! Which I love! The bed was comfortable and the sheets and blankets nice and soft. The bathroom... More

We stayed here just one night and were very satisfied. It was decorated with a lot of fun and campy antiques, wood stoves, and vintage quilts here and there. The place was old... Dating back to the 1800's, but in no way was it dilapidated. In fact, it was immaculately clean. The room we stayed in was small but adequate, and... More

We just stayed there this weekend when we took our children apple picking. The staff were very attentive. Just by way of example, I forgot my glasses in my room after we checked out. The staff called to let me know, and then mailed them back that day! I was only without them for a single night.

The one young lady we saw made it clear that she had no time to tell us anything, not even that cold muffins were set out for those leaving before the designated breakfast time of 9 a.m. We found the small kitchen by ourselves. Bed was good, bathroom uncomfortably cramped. No one was up to check us out at 7:30... More

We stayed for 2 nites and the B&B has been remodeled and everything is very clean and new. Lots of fun antiques, unique breakfasts. Rooms are small but bed is comfy. I loved the new and very clean shower. Claire, the caretaker is attentive and goes out of her way to help. She did a small wash for me and... More

A real find on the route that has a reputation for being overpriced and under-served. The hotel has 12 rooms and Claire, the host, made sure I had everything I needed. The Camino Hotel was built in 1888, but it's been lovingly restored and updated, but the hardwood floors, British East India rugs, wicker furniture, a front porch that runs... More
