Great place to stay. Quite, friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful. Restaurant food is amazing. The bar is a full bar with entertainment at night which is fun. Pool area is kept up well. You can walk the whole property to get your exercise and it’s a beautiful walk. There is also a spa but I have not personally used it yet. One of our favorite places to stay.

Lovely setting, good dining I reserved 2 rooms, 1 king forest view and 1 cabin suite with spa tub for my guests. At 9:00 pm my guests notified front desk that spa tub was not working they were told someone would come to the room. 30 minutes later no one and called again. 30 minutes later desk called and said they knew spa was inoperable and a part had been ordered for repair. This was a 1 night stay, upon check out I went to front desk and spoke to them about the problem. I explained that the only reason I booked this room was for the spa tub. If not operable I would have booked a regular room similar to the other room I was staying in. I requested that they credit the difference between the two. They refused and offered a 25.00 credit. Not acceptable especially since they knew in advance they were selling something they could not deliver.

Stayed two nights at this hotel. First night was ruff with loud neighbors,I called the front desk and complained. The man Joshua listened and apologized. He offered me a upgraded room. It was beautiful. The staff is friendly, bed's and pillows super comfy, the breakfast was amazing, the hotel grounds was beautiful.

After four visits, we are still eager to return to Cambria Pines Lodge. It is situated in a lovely hillside forest area above the town of Cambria and not far from the ocean. We enjoy the cool and moist ocean breeze, the food is very good, the service is friendly and they are able to handle many people very well. Because they also own the Cambria Pines Nursery, the grounds of the Lodge are wonderfully cared for and the gardens are beautiful. It is also pet friendly and we have enjoyed a visit with our dog.

We stayed at Cambria Pines Lodge to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. It was our home base for exploring the town and going on a Clydesdale trail ride. The location was perfect, easy to walk to town and a short drive to our ride. The rooms are comfortable, cozy and clean. Our room had an amazing view of the Cambria Pines. The food was delicious, the pool relaxing, and the staff was very friendly.

Stayed with family during an heatwave. Never thought to ask if they had air conditioning when I booked. Upon arrival we discovered they didn't. We did not sleep well the two nights there. I realize that the central coast is usually cooler but with climate change here to stay, air conditioners are a necessity. Would stay here again if in the area in cooler seasons.

Cambria Pines Lodge is a really charming place with a very relaxed atmosphere. A bit of that wild west feeling without it being shoddy. Rooms were generally good, albeit cleaning seemed to be at the bare minimum. But in that price range - having stayed a couple of places down highway 1 - it seems that's what can be expected (but honestly don't think it's good enough, generally speaking). Amenities were fine, breakfast was fine, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice for families with kids. Not a party place. No AC, but fans were available upon request.

I’ve traveled to Cambria Pines Lodge several times, but this time was rough. Our room was sweltering. We had a ceiling fan, box fan, windows open wide, and yet it was terribly hot, humid, and we couldn’t sleep restfully. I sincerely hope (with global warming) you’ll consider putting HVAC systems or splits in the rooms. If not, I will probably never visit again during the warmer weather. The good: the salt water pool was sublime, our dinner (part of a “package”) was delicious, the balcony off our room overlooking the trees 🌲 was a gray place to hang (and cooler than inside the room), and the electric car chargers you provide were helpful. The bad: sweltering room, outdated furnishings, one bed was considerably softer than the other. The ugly: there was mold in the shower caught between two panes or glass in the shower door — disgusting.

Huge animal odor problem. Would advise anyone to not go unless you have pets. The grounds are beautiful & kept up immaculately but it would have been better to stay in a tent outside. We enjoyed the food, music & service & the price was best buy for the buck.
