What an amazing gem of a find. We rented out the whole B and B for the weekend and I could not have asked for a better experience. Happy hour and appetizers in the evening, incredibly comfortable beds in beautifully decorated rooms, a breakfast that beats any restaurant around, and the continuous feeling of relaxation, home-away-from home, and charm. Would...

First off, let me start by saying THANK YOU to Linda and Ron for the most beautiful experience. Our group rented out the entire bed & breakfast. Linda and Ron had their hands full and handled everything great. They were extremely professional and were there for anything that we needed. The location of this place was phenomenal. Everything was beautiful...

By far the Best Bed and Breakfast place we have ever been too! The hospitality of the owner surpasses and 5 star hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are amazing, the food is phenomenal! You will not be sorry you stayed here! We have gone here multiple times and will continue to come back!

When we booked J. Patrick House, we thought it was a little overpriced but boy were we wrong. This is probably the most friendly and well-thought-through stay I have ever experienced. From the community-style happy hour to the fresh baked cookies at night to the fireplace in the room to the fantastic breakfast, this really was the perfect stay. Loved...

To me, this is the perfect place to stay for a long weekend away. Charming, friendly hosts who chat & get to know their guests. Beautiful grounds, carefully kept, inviting. Our room, Dublin, was lovely. Giant, comfortable bed. Antiques really brought out the charm, didn't make it feel too old-fashioned. In fact, the two building are full of antiques and...

My husband and I have been to the J. Patrick house a few times. However, this last visit was a nice surprise. The home is under new ownership and the entire place has been redone. The decor is rustic but not cheesy and the old "grandma" look has been removed. Yay! The bathrooms are all updated/modern but the rooms still...

We stayed one night mid-week in early October on a short trip up the coast from LA to SanFran. We picked it for it's closeness to the Hearst Castle and based on TripAdvisor's reviews. We arrived just in time for happy hour with a great selection of wine and appetizers. We thoroughly enjoyed this time with the owners and their...

We went on a trip driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco for Thanksgiving. A perfect half-way point. It was charming, hospitable and extremely well run. The rooms were clean & well kept. The happy hour was fun and engaging. The breakfast was terrific. And to top it all, the innkeeper (Linda) was the best, friendly and inviting. We'll be...

East Coasters driving up the west coast and visiting Hearst Castle for 2 days. Linda and Ron could not have made our stay more enjoyable!!! Rooms are spacious and lovely, bountiful and delicious gourmet breakfast, fresh baked cookies/milk at night and so much fun at "happy hour" with great wine and appetizers that lasted way longer than an hour!!! They...
