Reviewed yesterday NEW

The room was cold as the fireplace didn't put out much heat. The furniture was oddly placed, not exactly a study in feng shui. A large rug might make it cozier. When remodelling, I would put a picture window between the bathroom and the bedroom (think Shutters at Santa Monica). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room... More

We started in Napa for a few days then San Francisco for couple days and the end of our vacation in Cambria The Moonstone Landing was the best of all places we stayed. We will definitely be back. The room was large with plenty of seating .

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the beach. We arrived with moments to spare before our first sunset. Our room was so nice. Larger than expected with a king size bed, dining table for 4, 2 leather chairs and a fireplace. The balcony was also very spacious. The bathroom was quite... More

We stayed for one night at Moonstone Landing during our road trip down the 1 and we are so happy that we decided to stay here! We chose a partial ocean view room and it was amazing. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious and clean--we almost felt like we were the first ones to stay there. Loved the... More

As a family of four with young kids, we stayed in this hotel for just one night as a stop between Santa Barbara and Monterey. We had had a long day - so were grateful to get to the hotel. Our room had a partial view (one window could see the ocean). It had a two beds, a fire place... More

We decided to spring for an oceanfront room and when we opened the door, the view was so spectacular that we were in awe. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a separate shower without a door( it didn't need one) and a jacuzzi tub. The bed was superb,, very comfortable and we slept with the door open, listening to... The person at the front desk was borderline not nice at check in. We arrived a little after 1:30pm and were told the room was not ready. When heading towards our car I asked the housekeeper if room 204 was ready, it was already done. The person at the front desk was not happy I asked the housekeeper and told... More

Visited as part of our honeymoon tour and so glad we did. Warm friendly greeting and excellent service from the receptionist. The most beautiful room ever (201) with balcony to watch the sunset from with a glass of wine, gas fire and jacuzzi bath to name but a few things. Next door to a beautiful seafood restaurant (see separate review... More
