We came for a couple nights to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and stayed in the beach house room. The room was spectacular and even though it was twice as much as the standard room and competing hotels, it was worth it. The staff was great and was very generous by providing a bottle of wine and personalized card. Definitely made the celebration of my wife's birthday special in light of not having the party we were planning before the pandemic.

Hotel's Favorite
My daughter and I had a great time at the Cambria Beach Lodge. It was a sunny, cool day in Cambria. We hopped on the bikes and got an idea of the area. Bob and Tom gave us a great dinner recommendation. The beds were super comfortable! I would definitely stay there again!

Location could not be better! Beautiful sunset view from the upstairs lounge area. Loved the personal touches, including the individually packaged pastries for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel! It’s RIGHT across the street from Moonstone beach, and has an amazing view of the sunset. The amenities are clean, comfortable, and stylish. Staff are very helpful, and the place feels very Covid safe, is all outdoors and masks are required to talk to the front desk staff. I loved the box of pastries you can pick up to take back to your room as well. Our favorite activity is checking out bikes and riding along the coastal road. We stay here at least once a year as a mini getaway. I even booked it as a surprise mini honeymoon for my sister and the hotel treated them like royalty! The newlyweds had the best time!

I recently visited Cambria for the first time and stayed at the Cambria Beach Lodge. I absolutely fell in love with both. Cambria Beach Lodge is the quintessential California oceanside hotel that tastefully embraces it’s beachy, surfer roots rather than turning them into a kitschy tourist attraction. It is charming, nicely updated, and above all -- SUPER CLEAN. It was awesome to sip coffee in the lobby/outdoor breakfast nook each morning while gazing at the endless ocean and the surfers bobbing in the waves. The location is key - miles of sandy beach are literally right across the street. As for the rooms, the beds seemed firm at first, but I discovered I slept better than I have in a long time! I want to know the brand of their mattresses - seriously. I cannot emphasize enough how much attention has gone into making the guest experience here a wonderful one, from the quality bed linens to the high-end complimentary toiletries. I didn’t care that there wasn’t a coffee maker, because like another reviewer said, I rarely use them in hotel rooms. The lobby has absolutely delicious coffee, and every room gets a little grab-and-go box of fresh baked goods from a local bakery in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, beach front getaway.
