Situated atop Moonstone Beach, the rooms and accommodations at Sand Pebbles Inn are perfectly appointed for all types of travelers. Our location is situated right off famed California Highway One, and convenient for people traveling up or down this magnificent coastline. Families or friends will find our mid-scale boutique property wonderfully convenient to everything Cambria and the Central Coast has to offer, including world famous Hearst Castle, just ten minutes to the north. Our staff will happily share local knowledge to help you discover the lesser-known Cambria attractions. Our full oceanview rooms provide the most extensive views of the Pacific Ocean and Moonstone Beach. Most rooms have partial ocean views and are only steps from the two-mile boardwalk overlooking the beach, tide pools, and daring surfers. The property is tastefully appointed with coastal influences and treasures found on the beach. Settle into our pillowy soft beds and enjoy a movie from our collection of free titles. Laugh with your family as you play a game of Monopoly from our selection of board games. No matter what your reasons are for visiting Cambria, Sand Pebbles Inn will surely add to your experience.

Depending on your point of view, the rooms are either quaint and cozy or old and small. The heating system is archaic, but it sure gets the room warm in a few minutes. Our room is standard - we get a very obstructed view of the ocean, but were unwilling to pay extra for the

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that there was some confusion with your reservation upon check in. Although, the on line travel agents help promote our business, they can be a little challenging with regards to room types etc. and it matching up to what the guest thinks they are reserving. I will make sure that I bring this to the attention of the PM guest service agent that was on duty that evening so that she can better handle in the future. Thank you again for your comments.

I decided to splurge for the king with private patio and spa tub; to my delight the bath products (which are amazing) came with bath salts for a soothing soak after walking miles along the boardwalk. The rooms are well insulated, I didn't hear other guests, televisions, or

Don't know direction, but it was a patio overlooking the ocean and Moonstone Blvd. It was at the ocean end of the building. Patio has a table,2 chairs and a face around it.

The water is very inviting, but very cold so generally most people aren't interested in swimming. Water activities like surfing and kayaking are prevalent along this part of the coast...but even the surfers wear wetsuits.
