Nightmare. Visited with my daughter and came home with bedbugs. Ruined our home for a month. Had to clean out two bedrooms and throw away 2 beds and belongings. Never visit this place again. I can't believe that they don't inspect their rooms.

Dear Kikidbk, We have thoroughly researched and inspected the hotel. We have not had any incidents in the past and we have passed all current inspections. While we do empathize greatly for your situation at this time we have no reason to think that it was caused by your hotel visit last year. We loved the Fogcatcher Inn, a great location, with lovely friendly staff. Our room was really lovely with a fireplace and fridge & microwave. Cambria is a great little town a 5 minute drive away. Hearst Castle is 10 minutes up the coast and well worth a visit. We had the best breakfasts here of all the places that we...

Charming little motel just across the street from the beach. Decor was simple, beach and in good taste. Toiletries were nice. Free internet. All rooms have gas fireplace which is charming. Breakfast was included. Room was clean and front desk was very nice and informative on where to eat, what to see, etc... Most importantly, it was just down the...

Absolutely loved this Inn and the location. Beds are super comfy, Molten Brown toiletries, gas fire and right on the beach. Spent an afternoon pottering around the beach and small touristy town. Wish we could have stayed at least another night. The fitout of the rooms is 4 star.

The rooms are average but the location is great. Loved walking across the street at high tide at 9PM with the waves thundering in. Cambria is small town California in the best way. Also close to the Hearst Castle and the sea elephants beach.

I really disliked this hotel. I tried to like it, but I found it exceptionally uncomfortable. First off, our room backed up against the highway and it was loud, especially since we had to open the windows because after showering the room was very warm. There is no AC or heat. The heat source is a fireplace. I don't know...

The location is absolutely great! You get the best view of the sunset. The rooms are large and well designed. They suffer fantastic breakfast and has seats outside to enjoy the view as eating your breakfast. Super clean.
