Cambria and the central coast is one of my favorite places to visit for a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. I’ve visited several times in the past staying at the Olallieberry Inn twice, the Morgan twice and now the Fog Catcher and the Blue Dolphin Inn. This time, we came up to Cambria last... More

The Fogcatcher Inn is very charming. The location across from moonstone beach is ideal and I really enjoyed my three night stay. The property is pet friendly, the breakfast is plentiful and the rooms are inviting. My only complaints would be spotty internet service, no cell service in the room and I found the clocks to be annoyingly bright during... More

An overnight stop on the way to Santa Barbera after during the Big Sur - we didn't expect too much but were surprised by the lovely location in the bay. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was great. A neat little pool was available for colloidal off. Breakfast was very good and could be taken indoors or... More

We stayed three nights at the Inn in one of the best rooms. It was a rude awakening on the day of our departure to find out how strict the check out policies were. We asked for late checkout (1 or 2) but it was not agreed to by the staff. I understand that it is a sold out property... More

Our family of four stayed here for one night on our way to San Francisco. The room was decent size with a fireplace, which was a nice touch as it was cool the night we stayed here. The room was ocean facing, but on the lower level, so your view was at the street/ground level. If you request an ocean... More

Loved the location! The boardwalk was right across the street. Three doors down was the Moonstone Bar and Grill, which has delicious food and drinks. Loved the spacious rooms and the fireplace was a cozy touch. The breakfast room was large and the food options were the best I've seen in any of the hotels I've stayed in. The staff... More

Fogcatcher Inn is located in Cambria. Cross the street and you stroll along the beach enjoying the brisk weather and the brilliant sunset. The newly-remodeled room that we selected is cozy and well-maintained. The recommended restaurant, Sea Chest, is within walking distance and quite neighborly. The complimentary breakfast is homemade, tasty, and plentiful. The staff does a great job maintaining... More

The Fogcatcher Inn is a wonderful place to stay near the water in Moonstone beach. The rooms are modern, spacious , with a fireplace which adds a touch of luxury. The location is great for a relaxing, calming place to stay on the central coast. It's the second time we have stayed there overnight on our drive between north and... More

We had a room looking out to the ocean. Loved it. Very homey and spacious. The staff was great. This hotel is away from the main street, but not too far, so you don't get a lot of noise, cars etc. A delightful gem on the coast that I would highly recommend.

We stopped here for one night on the way to LA from San Francisco. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the gas fire was a nice touch. Lovely location across from the sea, walking distance to good restaurants, peaceful. Helpful staff. Would have liked to stay longer.
