This place is a great little gym. It has 20 rooms but the beach is right across the street is beautifully decorated. It provides breakfast there’s a fireplace in every room the beds were very comfortable. The Decour in the rooms are just beautiful. Lots of amenities the lady at the front desk was very nice even got a vase for my Valentines flowers for me I highly recommend you stay at the blue dolphin it’s a great place and it’s very reasonable

We love Cambria and this hotel! We try to go every year and it never disappoints. The Blue Dolphin always looks fresh and clean, and they seem to constantly make some improvement. For this visit, there were new carpets and a new jacuzzi tub. Of course, the view from our ocean front room is always wonderful. The breakfast burrito that was delivered to our door was very good. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful hotel across from the ocean, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, comfy beds! I totally recommend this hotel, upscale at a great price. Offered a nice breakfast, coffee in the lobby. We loved sitting outside watching the ocean. No complaints!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Dolphin. It is immaculately clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is so nice, loved that the hotel is right across from the beach. Warm breakfast delivered every morning, it was super quiet, and the bed was comfy.We splured and got an ocean view; it felt like having a balcony on an ocean cruise but with much more space and not getting sea sick!

We stayed overnight on our pch hwy1 road-trip. Great little hotel . They deliver breakfast in a brown paper bag in the am and it was delicious Right across from moonstone beach. We saw an amazing sunset Beds were comfy too!

The Blue Dophin Inn is right across the street from the beach in Cambria. It is a boutique hotel with great beds and clean attractive rooms. Our room included an electric fireplace, robes, and a breakfast delivered to our room. I rated it a 4 and not a 5 because the air-conditioning is limited to an open window and fan. The ocean breeze makes this work much of the year. It is less than 10 minutes from The Hearst Castle and a short walk from a great restaurant. In short a great place to stay as long as it is not too hot.

Stayed here overnight on our way up the PCH. The inn is lovely and right across the street from the beach. It is a bit dated. There’s a nice restaurant next to it. Breakfast was good, you order it the night before. The town itself seemed pretty dead but we were here right when COVID restrictions got lifted so maybe they just haven’t gotten around to opening up businesses.

Spent three gorgeous days here ~ the view of the surf is fantastic, the room was beautifully decorated with lots of storage (!), and the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The yogurt parfait was yummy for breakfast!

Loved my stay here. I had a view of the beach from my room and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast gets delivered to your door in the morning which I thought was a nice touch. The coffee in the room is decent too. The location is great. Right on the boardwalk and just a short walk to the Main Street in Cambria. Would definitely stay again.

I have never written a review before but I could not leave the Blue Dolphin Inn without leaving a heartfelt recommendation. My husband and I had a one night stay following our drive through Big Sur. Everything about the Blue Dolphin Inn was perfect! We had the most beautiful room with a partial ocean view. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the room was meticulously clean! Furnishings were beautiful and the room included an electric fireplace. The bathroom was equally beautiful and clean, complete with decoratively folded towels. The room included a sitting area and we were able to enjoy the ocean view by opening the pretty plantation shutters. The inn provided amenities, such as a Keurig, microwave and mini-fridge, all tastefully concealed in a built-in unit. Additional indulgences included soft bathrobes and a complimentary breakfast that was delivered to our door in the morning. Parking was on premises and just steps away from the reception area. The Blue Dolphin Inn is truly an oceanfront location just steps from beautiful Moonstone Beach. Thank you to Irma who warmly greeted us and provided dining recommendations. She walked us to our room and kindly arranged for us to order breakfast for the following day. It was refreshing to interact with friendly and professional staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional service.
