Lovely hotel, located about 15 minutes walk from centre of town. Large bungalow rooms, well appointed and great garden and pool facilities. Can’t complain about the quality in that regard. The downside is the crazy cost. High room charge per night but then, Extra $45 per day charge for facilities such as pool whether you use them or not and extortionate bar and food prices. It lovely but in my opinion in no sense is it value for money
Service was very disappointing especially given the cost of everything. Horrible check in experience. No one helped us with moving our car to the correct location or with our bags. We had to wait for our room for very long time before it was ready.
The property is gorgeous. The food is top notch quality. However, our stay was mired at times. We found spiderwebs in and just outside our room. Service was very slow at the pool and didn't get back to us when we requested things.
An exceptional experience. Feels like a true getaway. Rooms are beautiful, great linens and in room amenities. Pool area is huge with ample seating and the new Pico bar a great addition. The gym, spa and mineral pools/hot pools/steam room are wonderful
Delicious food, gorgeous setting, constant irratating noise/music at the pool and mind numbing incessant music in and around the Solbar restaurant, audible from the lovely enclosed patio off of our comfortable room. This used to one of my very favorite places but until the Auberge organization changes their resort sound policy, I don't think I can return.
We enjoyed the beautiful setting and great food. The mid-week rates seemed a bit pricey. The casual and modern setting was relaxing and appealing. The small town of Calistoga is quiet and a nice change from Downtown Napa. We much prefer Solage over the fussy and stuffy Auberge Du Soliel.
The grounds are beautiful and clean. Very well maintained. the staff was friendly and helpful. ave been there 5 times and keep coming back.Last time I was there the upgraded me to a large enclosed patio with a fountain and outdoor fireplace. I wish I booked that this time. bc it really added to the experience. Such a great location too.
Everything during our recent stay at Solage was perfect....the team, service, rooms, pool and the food was fantastic! From the moment we checked in to the moment reality sends one home, it was one of the best experiences in the Napa Sonoma Valley we've had in years and we visit often. Thank you Team Solage....we shall return! Soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Solage. Beautiful, clean environment and rooms, wonderful staff and attention to details. We swam in the spring fed main pool every morning even when it was only 38 degrees outside. Spa- tubs, steam room and sauna were great. I liked the fiitness classes available.. I had doubts of going in February but its true, once the sun came out we were warm even if it was only 53 degrees. We will book for next February as soon as we can!
