Nick and Gillian were amazing hosts during this covid time! No contact check in went great and our room was so cozy and we absolutely enjoyed the time in our room! We had a little fire alarm situation but Nick was there to change the battery so fast and was so nice while assisting. Great location where we could walk every where! Thank you so much Nick and Gillian! We will see you next time!

I can't say enough good things about this cute place. Full of charm, well appointed rooms, a cozy common area to read, sip coffee or wine, meet people or just relax. The breakfast was freshly homemade and delicious. We had french toast, eggs and sausage along with a little buffet of yogurt, scones, granola, fresh fruit etc. The inn keeper was delightful and attended to our needs. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and included the most incredible claw foot tub I've ever seen. It looked antique, but was actually quite modern with a built in jacuzzi system for ultimate relaxation. The room and the bathroom were quite large and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Easy walk to the little downtown area for shopping and dining. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Great last minute find for a Sunday night stay in Calistoga. Big sitting area down stairs, with complimentary wine in the evening, freshly prepared breakfast and easy walking distance to town. Cozy and clean room (no TV). Also good BBQ and live music close by. Rate was surprisingly low even for winter rates. Would stay again on my next trip to the area.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our 25th wedding anniversary trip to California. We stayed in the Oakville room. We arrived earlier than the check in time. I had let the owners know we were going to be arriving early and they had a key ready for us to enter the residence. They had arranged for us to attend a wine tasting/ tour at the local winery castle (which I also recommend). The tickets were in our room when we arrived. The property is clean, quaint and quite. We enjoyed some well desired quiet time in the patio just outside our room while we waited for the shuttle. We returned from the winery tour and met other guests in the living room. We chatted and became acquainted. Of course, we didn't have too, we could have gone to our beautiful room with our own private garden patio. We ventured on our own to dinner. We were in walking distance to several restaurants and had quite a few options to choose from. We returned after dinner to find other guests in the living room. We had great conversation over complementary wine and sherry. I loved having time to meet other guests. The next morning breakfast was hot and ready, buffet/family style. The owner made breakfast beans that were delicious! I wish I had the recipe! I would stay here again...in a heartbeat!

The Inn was very inviting with lovely common areas to enjoy including the comfortable sitting room, outside patios at various levels, and the dining area with wonderful natural lighting. We were sent a text message on the day of our arrival offering travel directions and info, and warmly welcomed upon our arrival. The fresh homemade breakfasts were outstanding - everything from peach French toast, vegetable frittata, fruits, granola... Every late afternoon, complimentary wine was offered and this was a nice time to meet other Inn guests. There were several restaurants in the quaint downtown just a short walk away. Perfect location from which to visit vineyards and explore the area.
