We have been coming to Napa Valley for the last 15 years or so for the usual wine country experience. We don't schedule our annual getaway unless we can book a stay at Meadowlark. From the accommodations and grounds to the hospitality and location, it's one of the best in the Valley. Kurt and Richard are the perfect hosts providing guidance (and stories!) on where to dine and taste, as well as other useful information on all things Napa Valley. And we haven't even mentioned the unique pool and spa - worth the price of admission so to speak! The location of Meadowlark is perfect as it is a scenic drive from the Santa Rosa airport and provides a gateway from the north to the rest of Napa Valley. And its closeness to Calistoga means there are plenty of great dining options nearby. This is the place to stay for us when visiting Napa Valley, no question about it. …
After 3 of our vacations were cancelled because of Covid 19 my wife and I booked the garden room for a 2 night mini vacation. We enjoyed our 2 nights so much that we stayed for a 3rd night. Kurt and Richard were amazing hosts as they treated us like family. Both Kurt and Richard made a point to stop and talk to us whenever they saw us on the property. If you are in a hurry you are in the wrong place. This place is very relaxing. There is lots of space to roam and the horses are so tranquil to be around. The heated mineral pool is very inviting day and night( our late night swim and hot tubbing was incredible) Breakfast was delicious. We have no doubt that we will return in the near future
It's hard to put into words just what a fantastic place this is. Close to town but it feels like a world away. A beautiful property. Kurt and Richard are gracious hosts, Richard's gourmet breakfasts are something special, and the pool is an oasis and a great place to make new friends. We won't stay anywhere else!
My wife and I have enjoyed this resort a few times. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. Pool and spa only is clothing optional which we enjoyed very much. Everything is well appointed and first class. Breakfast is served every morning with fresh eggs from their large chicken coop. They have six Dressage horses on the property they train daily. We'll be back very soon. Leonard & Kirsten
My husband and I came across this wonderful property recently. We live only about 30 minutes away and needed a night away so we decided to check this place out. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement!! The grounds are spectacular, it’s extremely relaxing in every possible way, the owners (Kurt and Richard) are marvelous people and the breakfast in the morning is to die for!!! We will be going back to enjoy the relaxation of the pool even just for a day pass. We love how Kurt and Richard are so welcoming and friendly!
