Even though some things were closed due to Covid, my husband and I came here for our honeymoon just for some time away from it all and to get back to our roots with each other. And I gotta say, it did that too a tee. With it being so far out of the way of delivery services and had us out and walking to explore more than sitting inside and ordering in so we got to see a lot of the town and the resort. Not to mention we had the jacuzzi suite so it was our own personal hot spring we could use whenever we wanted! The staff was no e and friendly and even let us have a free bottle of cider (we don't drink alcohol so it was nice of them to consider that for us.) All in all, can't wait to go again!

This is easy. Easy because it is the ONLY and FIRST place we go back to (now 4 stays this summer alone) because it offers more. But first you have to admire the remodeled superior rooms. Everything is well thought out and well designed. No complaints! Everyone wants a great bed. Check. A lovely bathroom with all the amenities. Check. Quiet and clean, with quality towels, smooth sheets and bed linens. Also check. The house cleaners smile and wear clean smocks. Before we stayed at other so-called spas. Most were in need of repair. Or smelled, had staff that was surly or the accouterments were second-rate. Not here. The pools and gardens are well maintained. Granted, the interior pool is dated but clean and the bathrooms need a remodel. But the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are excellent. Always nice to have chaise lounges that are clean and pretty new. As for the spa services and staff: good for the money. You can go to Solage or Indian Springs and be pampered more but save the extra $50 to $100 bucks and instead get a 90 minute massage here. A few words about the staff: Friendly, nice, smart well intentioned. They also make it easy and there is hot fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. We like eating locally one block away for breakfast or taking our coffee and freshly-baked croissants down to the poolside tables. Maybe pick up a nice Salmon filet at Cal-Mart across the street and barbecue it here. Al fresco dining is available and lovely because Roman Spa Hot Springs offers clean tables and scrubbed barbecues. Yeah, I sound like the owner writing this but no, just a world traveler who appreciates quality and care. Hard to find for under $350 a night but here you can. And that’s why we like it and will be back often.

Thank you for the very kind and thoughtful comments as well as your loyalty. We greatly appreciate knowing we have met and exceeded your expectations. We strive to provide a welcoming, relaxed, enjoyable and memorable experience each and every time for every guest. We are pleased knowing we have accomplished our goals. Every staff member has the same goal in mind. We are dedicated to providing accouterments and amenities that have been tried and tested before they go into our rooms, if we don't want to sleep on the mattress, use the towels, or the soap, why would our guests. We look forward to serving you again in the future.

I appreciate your feedback on your stay. I'm sorry to hear the mattress in the room was uncomfortable to you. We will check on that mattress to determine the issue. All our mattresses have been replaced in the past few years, we do purchase top of the line Serta mattresses which are on the firmer side, thus if a guest prefers a softer feel, we are happy to add a very plush pillow topper for additional softness for those desiring a plusher feel. Since you have stayed with us "many times," and this is the first time the mattress has been an issue, I would hope you would reconsider a future stay and request a pillow topper when making the reservation. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

Good service (given the virus issue). Great pool area with very nice plants. Room haven't seen an upgrade and refresh for a very long time - clean and well equipped, but of fading beauty. I know there is no money know for these kind of things, but it is definitely a consideration.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I'm sorry you were unable to notice the number of improvements to the rooms we have been making on a yearly basis. Since 2017 we have replaced carpet, draperies, bedding, soft goods, lamps, phones, new tile to several bath rooms and kitchens. Our next project is to completely renovate a building of 6 rooms. Each year we also upgrade many "back of house" needs such as IT upgrades, property management systems, etc. Additionally, our grounds, plantings, patio furniture and maintenance aspects are always a priority. We are continuously working on varies aspects of our facility to provide a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable stay for each of our guests. I hope we have the opportunity to serve you in the future.

We were just at The Roman Spa for 3 nights. The grounds are beautiful, their staff is super helpful and friendly, and the pools are warm and relaxing. They are within walking distance to is several dining options, all of which are open for patio dining. It was a great getaway and we can’t wait to get back!
