I love Roman Spa! I go there for years. It's a great place for adults to relax, reinvigorate, and restore. I love the warm swimming pool, restorative spas, gardens, service, front desk help, room accommodations, cleanliness. I highly recommend it mostly for adults. It's very peaceful that way.

Hotel's Favorite
Had a very pleasant stay. The location is perfect, cool and hot tubs are very nice. We did a mud bath and massage which was interesting to say the least, and very relaxing. The staff were all very friendly to include housekeeping and groundskeepers! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely grounds and peaceful pools. Simple and clean rooms. Parking is easy. The garden is especially beautiful with lovely places to tuck away and have lunch. Easy walking distance to everything Calistoga has to offer. Front desk was not the most courteous.

The hotel was beautiful, great location, but expensive for no services offered like breakfast, or room cleaning everyday unless you ask, then you have to put everything in a pile at the door, they do not come in your room, they open to grab linens and drop the new ones. They still freak out about covid even after all the mandates have been removed.

I love to stay at the Roman Spa and have been staying there for many years. The rooms are comfortable and some have kitchens. There are two pools and a hot tub. The grounds are meticulously kept and the flowers gorgeous. Visit in March/April and enjoy the magnificent tulips!!

I'm happy you were able to visit during our 2023 tulip extravaganza which this year included over 5,000 tulips & daffodils in 40 varieties- it was quiet a beautiful site and lasted until the end of April when the weather turned unexpectedly and untypically hot. We stayed at Roman Spa two days in late April. The location is perfect, we never got in our car until the day we left. There are plenty of great places to eat just a few steps away so it's very convenient. We also loved the landscaping around the resort grounds. We were just in time to see all the beautiful tulips in bloom and it was something special. The rooms are outdated and nothing special but we knew that before we went and still had a good stay. We came for the mineral pools though and enjoyed them very much. I liked that the pools closed at 10pm so there wasn't any loud noise at night. It was a relaxing getaway and we'll be back!

We do have 3 levels of rooms, our Classic which are in the middle of a refresh, our Superiore king bedded units and our Jacuzzi Suites, you may find the upgrades more to your liking. Grounds looked spectacular. We come back again and again. Walking distance to. EVERYTHING! Park the car and just stroll for the test pf your stay. And massages are fabulous. Even got a cute souvenir mug.

The hotel is adorable and well kept up, very beautiful scenery, definitely recommend staying. Not impressed with the spa experience unfortunately. Will come back to stay and enjoy the pool and bbq area

I enjoy the warm pool open 8a-10p; the beautiful gardens. and the relaxing atmosphere i have stayed here many times the location is great kitchenette goid value. Lots of shade for when it is hot……………..

The spa is great. Got a mud bath and 75 min massage. Hotel is average. Very pricey for the dated condition the rooms are in. I would stay elsewhere and use only the spa. Location of the hotel is fine, it's right next to the main street and lots of restaurants.
