Discover this historic, iconic resort in the beautiful Napa Valley. Indian Springs Calistoga’s palm tree-lined drive unfolds into 17 stunning acres of rolling hills and ponds, lush olive trees and fragrant gardens, bursting with lavender and roses. Our accommodations are comprised of an eclectic collection of historic cottages, luxurious bungalows, Mission Revival-style buildings and 2 to 3 bedroom homes spread out across our 17 acres, each providing a unique view and a different feel. The end result remains the same—luxury and warmth without all the fuss—outdoor spaces that bring you closer to the environment and indoor spaces with whimsical details and spa-like features. For over a century, guests have journeyed to Indian Springs Calistoga in search of relaxation and well-being. As one of the original spas in California, our thermal mineral waters, mud baths and special treatments attract those seeking an authentic spa experience. Our on-site restaurant, Sam's Social Club is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike for its seasonally and locally influenced menu served in a convivial and vibrant atmosphere. Out of great respect for traditions, we offer guests an authentic spa and resort experience that’s truly one of a kind.

Not very relaxing. Thought it was expensive for one full day, two nights. Loud groups in the morning disrupted my sleep and late night kid party in the pool. I got hit by a noodle!. Not very relaxing. It was just okay.

I've been a regular for the past 5 years and live nearby. However, prices keep spiking and there are better options around like the newly remodeled Dr. Wilkinson's. The last straw was yesterday when I stopped by for breakfast at Sam's Social Club and got seated next to a big staff meeting in the dining room. No mention was made of the meeting when we were seated. About 10 new employees walked in and the trainer proceeded to lecture them loudly about delivering quality customer service! This used to be a place I looked forward to visiting since I only live 1 hour away but this is ridiculous. In Hawaii, they give locals a "good neighbor" discount. Every time I've stayed here, I got a follow up email survey and suggested this but no one has ever contacted me. It seems like they are only catering to the 1% these days.

I thoroughly have enjoyed Indian Springs and The Spa. However, after a couple other treatments I decided to have a mud bath. Part of the mud bath experience is a infra red dry sauna. I let the person know who was ready to come in that I was vaccinated against COVID-19 and she said “yeah”. Turns out she travels a lot and is not vaccinated, in addition she told me magnetic theory has cured COVID-19. This is unacceptable, spas should require proof of vaccination for admittance. My husband is 13 years older than I and I am no spring chicken. I may be okay, but now am I a carrier? Spas, please do not put us in this predicament. You will be wildly successful if you are a vaccine only facility. The cruise industry is winning this argument in court. I am so extremely disappointed in the way Indian Springs runs their spa. I am no longer a fan.

The grounds and pool were outstanding. But I found our 2 bedroom cottage not so great. There were dead insects on the walls and ants on the floor. Just would expect that from our nightly right for the room.
