Discover this historic, iconic resort in the beautiful Napa Valley. Indian Springs Calistoga’s palm tree-lined drive unfolds into 17 stunning acres of rolling hills and ponds, lush olive trees and fragrant gardens, bursting with lavender and roses. Our accommodations are comprised of an eclectic collection of historic cottages, luxurious bungalows, Mission Revival-style buildings and 2 to 3 bedroom homes spread out across our 17 acres, each providing a unique view and a different feel. The end result remains the same—luxury and warmth without all the fuss—outdoor spaces that bring you closer to the environment and indoor spaces with whimsical details and spa-like features. For over a century, guests have journeyed to Indian Springs Calistoga in search of relaxation and well-being. As one of the original spas in California, our thermal mineral waters, mud baths and special treatments attract those seeking an authentic spa experience. Our on-site restaurant, Sam's Social Club is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike for its seasonally and locally influenced menu served in a convivial and vibrant atmosphere. Out of great respect for traditions, we offer guests an authentic spa and resort experience that’s truly one of a kind.

One of my favorite places to stay! The staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and well appointed. I highly recommend a mud bath and "taking the waters"! Calistoga is a great town with a relaxed feel. Perfect for a long weekend.

Kids aren't allowed in the non-mineral pool, there was a heat wave during our stay and even though the resort wasn't crowded we weren't allowed to use the cooler adult pool. The temperature of the main pool was 99 degrees and the adult pool was 83. Only 2 adults in the pool and we were asked to leave with our young kids that we were holding in the pool (they were quiet and being held) while the adults were splashing and talking loudly. I don't understand this concept of the "adult pool" during a non crowded time and heat wave. I requested an accommodation from the resort during my stay and was denied. I payed 2k for 2 nights for a 2bedroom cottage suite. Beware of pool temperature if traveling with kids. They do have a nice garden and area for kids, so its confusing why they don't have a cooler pool that they will allow the kids to use.

We're mineral pool AND history fans, those were key reasons for the decision to come to the resort. But after our stay, and another at a much more expensive place in the area I'd heartily recommend Indian Springs first. Our upstairs room facing the pond was very private, charming and clean, the proximity to town can't be beat, the fun games and little surprise picnic and rest areas scattered around the resort, the warm mineral springs pool, always plenty towels and truly world class California style landscaping -- if you are a gardener you will be inspired. The staff was always helpful and friendly. My only wish: the rooms could have used a bureau, a bit too small for one. Next time we'll do one of the bungalows instead of the room by the geyser just because they look so homey. We enjoyed a shoulder season without many kids at all, otherwise with all the family amenities I can imagine it gets crowded but it felt like an adult only resort wile we were there and it was very quiet.

The property is just beautiful! I love the bicycles it makes getting around so easy. We have the best girl time ever! As a mother of three daughters it was such a treat for me to be able to share this with them. I’ve decided to make it an annual trip for me and the girls. We just got back last week and already one of my daughters and her man have booked to go in October! Thank you for such a beautiful place to retreat.

Quiet, quail, hot springs, fun activities. My husband and I had a lovely time. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The grounds are well-maintained and full of fun activities for kids or adults. Badminton, visit the chickens, shuffleboard, ping pong, bicycles, croquet, and of course, the 2 pools. The big pool can be too hot (99F when we were there) on a warm day, the smaller pool is adults only and is a very pleasant temp (86F).

Excellent family spot, but would be nice if kids could use the cooler pool like you can at Dr. Wilkinsons. Overall though, location and amenities are excellent, Sams was excellent and it is a short walk into town.

Lovely huge pool for "taking the waters". The temperature was between 92-100 degrees and the pool build in 1910. Historic! Beautifully maintained grounds. Conveniently located in Calistoga. Sam's Club for dining is located on site for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Snack bar at pool for a tasty lunch or snacks including guacamole and popsicles! Friendly staff, comfortable room.
