Lovely spacious room in private home. Beautiful view, access to front deck and back deck. Host is friendly and available and cooks a delicious breakfast. A nice perk is that it is walking distance from The Saddle Peak Lodge, which is a wonderful historic restaurant with unique and delicious food. We will definitely return if we are in the area.

It's just up the mountain road from the University. Great views, cool cross winds, huge California King bed plus a blow up queen air mattress in one room made it affordable for this pricey area. Yummy breakfast and friendly host, Michael. Wonderful porch if you have time to stay and relax.

Sitting atop a high hill, the Malibu Bella Vista is situated to provide stunning views and a nice atmosphere in the famous malibu climate. The driveway is steep, so take care when arriving, but it's worth making the climb. The rooms are very nice with all the amenities like cable tv, netflix, high speed internet and flatscreen tv's. Also, there... More

We chose the Malibu Vista because we needed accommodations for a week. If you are familiar with this exclusive area you know how expensive it can be to stay there. Our room was comfortable, but did require some additional cleaning. However, with Michael's permission we did arrive 2 hours earlier than we were expected. The driveway, parking and entry stairs... I am pleased that my friend and I stayed here for one night. It is a nice house, but not extremely luxurious like some B&Bs, but served our purposes just fine. The driveway is quite an attraction in itself. There are wonderful views over the Santa Monica Mountains and Michael is a fine host. His breakfast of blueberyy pancakes was... More

Cozy spot perched high in the hills! Michael was a friendly and attentive host--I wish I could make scrambled eggs (perfect) and bacon (excellent crisp!) as well as him. He was accomodating for our dietary needs as well (gluten free, doctor's orders). We stayed for two nights over Valentine Day weekend while doing some running in the mountains. Had a... More

Mere words cannot express my incredible stay at this beautiful B&B... Outstanding room, Michael (host) provided the kindest and most inviting visit. The accommodations were perfect. The breakfast menu was extensive and so delicious. And the view is miraculous. Many thanks for the best B&B experience ever!

We stayed two nights during President's Day weekend and had a great time. The owner Michael was very friendly and accommodating, even though we were late and arrived after 10pm. The room was large and clean and the breakfasts we had each day were great. Recommended.

The Bella Vista, a relaxing California bed and breakfast, is located in Malibu Canyon, just 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean and just up the coast from Los Angeles. We are nestled on the side of the Santa Monica Mountains with gorgeous views, thus the name Bella Vista. The B&B rooms are part of our beautiful ranch-style home surrounded by our vineyard.
