This is one of two Motel 6 locations at the Buttonwillow offramp, along the 5 freeway. Haven't yet tried the newer location, across the street. This location is the older of the two and is typical Motel 6 through-and-through. I've stayed here more times than I care to mention, as my Dad participates in vintage racing events at nearby Buttonwillow...

We viewed rooms in both the Motel 6's in town, and decided that the one at 20638 was a better choice for us. The two hotels are almost adjacent, but the newer one is the first one you come to, after the exit and a left turn, on the left side of Tracey Avenue. More people were staying at the...

We arrived at Buttonwillow Ca. After a long day ride, and picked the motel 6 for the consistency of a chain hotel and the pool. We were given a room, and could. To get wifi. When I went down to the office, the owner happened to be there and took my device from me saying it must be my settings,...

Stayed at the Motel 6 in the center of town, not the one on the North end. Beverly was great checking us in without a reservation. The room was large, with a flat screen tv and free wifi. Nice pool and spa. Beverly recommended the Mexican place across the parking lot. Excellent! The bathroom had large towels, and a great...

Noisy, from the traffic and the coachful of mariachi band members, but otherwise a normal motel experience. Basic, clean but friendly service. The pool looked good, but didn't use it. There are two Motel 6's within yards of each other, so double check your booking and GPS.

The first thing you need to know is that there are two Motel 6's near each other in Buttonwillow. This review is for the newer larger one which paradoxically has the older style sign. I have stayed in many Motel 6's in my life and nearly always been satisfied with them as a low cost place to lay my head....

Pretty standard Motel 6. About $40(Senior rate plus taxes). The only thing I would caution guests about is which side of the motel they get. It's right next to the interstate and traffic goes on all night. So, stay on the side away from the Interstate and it may be better.

Traveling back to California from Spring Training in Scottsdale, AZ (GO GIANTS!) when I could not take the road any longer. I rolled in to Motel 6 in Buttonwillow, CA at around midnight. The front desk was open and there was a very nice person there to greet me. I got one of the last 2 rooms available. It was...

When I ran over to Carls Jr. in the morning for breakfast I noticed an employee with a clipboard going room to room. When i returned my iphone was stolen and the employee claimed that i had left my door open. (i certainly did not) My calls were never returned.
