Nothing fancy here. Clean and reasonably priced. Thin walls meant the snoring foghorn in the next room was a problem. There was a kitchenette so you can prepare meals if so inclined. We did not. The pet fee was reasonable.

This motel was a good choice while staying in Burney. There are only 2 motels that take pets, and that is why I chose this one. There was a small pet fee, which was fine. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly when I checked in and gave my doggies a treat for their stay. The entrance was...

The people at the desk were pleasant and kind. The room was smallish but adequate for the two of us. We used the heater (it's November!) and it worked fabulously to keep even me warm. I am one of those people who is never warm enough from Halloween to Easter. The room was very clean and tidy, as was the...

Good Qualities: New system so you feel safe, but all the information they gather on you seems a touch overboard. They run your drivers license, but I suppose it's the norm now. I asked for a room with a "Spa Tub" they said they had one "Soaking Tub left" so I booked it by phone. Th cottages are 40's to...

Hotel room was clean. Setup in the room was nice. They have free continental breakfast, but we ate at the McDonald's next door instead. Bathroom was clean but small. Shower head was at my eye level and the soap was too small to be adequate. The main reason to come to Burney is the falls. I suggest you consider staying...

Rooms are small but clean. Bathroom and shower have been remodeled recently and look fine. The A/C is really loud and do not work well, and yes it does get very hot during this time of the year. It would be more like a 60-70 dollars motel in any other location but in Burney with a small handful of choices...

On scooter trips, we usually stay at inexpensive roadside motels, older retro style ones whenever possible. Although a bit more expensive than many (but still under $100), Green Gables in Burney is the best of the lot. It is a traditional courtyard motel, but it has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored. Rooms are small, but have all the mod cons--microwave,...

Burney is a small town so not many options. Despite being an old motel, the bed was comfy and the room was pretty clean. Was awakened by a car starting up at 5 a.m. right outside our door. Coffee pot in the room didn't work. Went to office area for "real" coffee, but none to be found. Awful coffee and...

Well - There aren't a lot of choices to stay in Burney. This is the best with a few nits. It is hard to find the first time. The owners bought the hotel next door, and put up really poor sineage. The hotel name is in very small letters on the bottom of the sign. We found it because it...

I passed in Burney for the first time and we stayed 2 days at Green Gables And was a ok stay without any problems in this normal motel. It is out is nothing more. Very clean and comfortable place with a big bathroom and a weird shape room but not bad. The bed was comfortable enough and has a nice...
