Good hotel to stay at if you are arriving late/departing early due to its proximity to SFO. Also works if you are renting a car and do not want to pay expensive SF parking fees ($50-$80 per day). Does not deserve bad reviews. Don’t expect 5-star luxury hotel accommodations and you wont be dissatisfied. I will say they DO need to update the bathrooms as they are old. Toilet handle kept getting stuck and tiles were dated. Hotel was clean except for some stains I saw on our window curtains. Breakfast is not worth what they charge ($31.50 pp) but my room included free breakfast. The staff are very friendly. I would recommend if you need convenience over luxury.

Went through TripAdvisor review and noticed the Hyatt on airport was sold out and didn't want to go all the way to downtown. Some properties had scary reviews and usually Hilton properties do not disappoint so took the chance of staying here and was pleasantly surprised to a room that seemed to never end as it had one separate room with desk, television, chair, comfortable bedding with 2 excellent bathrooms with excellent water pressure with Neutrogena products. Attached to the room was like a living room with dining table, 3 sofas, coffee table, television, abundant window with excellent views of landing aircraft, office buildings, and the staff were above and beyond. Was welcomed as a diamond member from New Jersey native, Ryan who explained all the amenities of the hotel. Fiji native, Trisha, was very warm and made the stay that much better and let me stay longer than usual checkout upto 2pm being a diamond member. Teena was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly in her customer service skills with professionalism and composure as I noticed she was being yelled at by some airhead going crazy about charging stations for his electric car - c'mon dude she's a human and if you're staying at. Hilton, you know you're gonna be charged for everything. The elevators were very quick and roomy. By front desk, there are abundant choices of food and drink as well as those just in case items one might need such as deodorant, scissors, and razors. The breakfast could have been better with more choices and the atmosphere was great with lunch and dinner being served as well with an ambient bar. The executive lounge up top was spectacular with excellent views, had all the office equipment to get work done in a well lit atmosphere. The shuttle to the airport was a nice treat as well with the driver being friendly and helpful as well. Now I know where to come to stay and will definitely skip the Hyatt to come here as those Hilton Honor points add up as a Diamond member. Thank you for the memorable stay! 1425 was great and kudos the housekeepers who make things happen by keeping the fort down to make rooms available for comfortable stays! Thank you!

Nice size spacious room. Clean. Decent mattress, linens and towels. Food was adequate. The Executive Lounge is open, but unstaffed. Only soda and water available and a few pretzel/nut/cracker type snacks. Parking is 50$ a night so I suggest getting rid of the rental car once you check in and use the shuttle to go to the airport in the morning. Pleasant walking path next to the hotel goes along the waterfront and to an “Meta” store. It appears a restaurant and a coffee shop may also soon open. Only downside was my Diamond status was not acknowledged. I had to return later to ask for the key to be enabled to the lounge and my profile requests for room needs were obviously never looked at.

This hotel was almost forced upon us because we had gotten stranded in San Francisco when our flight and several others were canceled. Looking online while deciding what to do, it was obvious that the word was out about the cancellations because the prices started to rise. It took us two nights to be able to book another flight out.
I scheduled online and took a $40 Uber for the four miles to the hotel. I know that isn't the hotel's fault, but the shuttle was nowhere to be found.
Our room was substandard considering it was a "name brand" hotel. Everything was shabby, including tears in the curtains, stained countertops, snagged carpet, and chipping paint. I wish I had taken pictures, but we had already been up for 36 hours and just wanted some food and sleep.
The hotel restaurant was only open for another half an hour, so we ordered our $22 burgers and were quickly served. They were expensive, but good after not having eaten anything but airline food.
When we checked in, we were told what time breakfast was. When I booked, it said that breakfast was included with the room. We ended up eating breakfast at the restaurant and there was a large assortment of foods, which was hot and the service was good. But imagine my surprise when we went to leave to be handed a bill. It was for over $60 for two people.
You are at the mercy of the restaurant unless you are brave enough to take a $50 Uber. We did use Uber Eats for our other meal, which was less expensive.
The best deal of place was some vending machines where you could get a can of Coke for $1.75. It was the only place I didn't feel ripped off.
We ordered an Uber for the airport because we needed to leave at 4:00 a.m. Again, I had been informed that the airport shuttle didn't start running until 4:30. Imagine my surprise when our Uber showed up one minute before the shuttle. Once more, the correct information given by the desk would certainly saved us the $50 return trip to the airport.
Paris and Nicky Hilton should be forced to stay a night at one of their "signature" hotels to see how they are making their money.
We are retired and if we would have stayed another night, we would have needed to go back to work.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have been happy with them, however on a recent planned stay in mid January, I had paid the higher room rate in order make a date change and/or cancellation if needed. Well, I needed to move the arrival date out two weeks due to an illness and was shocked and extremely annoyed when the reservation desk said the new date (just another Monday night) would have an $80/night increase. I told the rep that I specifically paid the higher room rate so I could make a change if needed and they were adamant that I would have to pay the increased room rate! Basically, they did a bait and switch on the changeable room rate so I cancelled my reservation and I will NEVER use a Hilton Hotel again. I booked another hotel just down the street and saved $150.00 on my one night stay compared to Hilton!

This hotel is near to the airport which is great and has a shuttle. The entrance to the hotel is grand but the rooms themselves are mediocre at best. I wish the rooms offered mini fridges. The beds were okay, not the best not the worst. The heating unit seems to be finicky. I had to keep turning it up because it was simply not heating my room passed about 66f. More towels in the bathrooms would be awesome so that you don’t have to call down and ask for more. There’s 2 of each towel (minus bath mat) and sometimes ya just need more wash cloths etc.. Food and drink at this hotel is astronomically expensive, aka cup of coffee in the morning. Staff was friendly. Ice machine on every other floor seems to be broken. Can hear commotion from hallways. If it’s windy you can hear the wind howl down the hallways oddly enough.

During my recent stay at a hotel, I was unfortunately met with a less-than-pleasant experience. From dirty hallways to vandalized elevators and dated decor from the 90s, it was clear that this establishment had seen better days. In this review, I will provide an honest account of my stay, highlighting the issues I encountered and my overall impression of the hotel.
Body: 1. Dirty Hallways and Common Areas: Upon entering the hotel, I immediately noticed the unkempt and dirty hallways. The carpets were stained, and the walls showed signs of negligence. It was evident that the hotel lacked proper maintenance, leaving a negative first impression.
2. Vandalized Elevators: The elevators were another aspect that left me utterly disappointed. They were covered in graffiti and scratches, giving an overall feeling of insecurity and neglect. It was apparent that the hotel management had not taken any steps to address this issue, further diminishing the overall experience.
3. Dated Decor from the 90s: The dated decor throughout the hotel was reminiscent of a bygone era. The furniture, fixtures, and color schemes seemed outdated and out of touch with modern aesthetics. It felt like stepping back in time to the 90s, which did not align with the expectations of a contemporary hotel experience.
4. Lack of Cleanliness in the Rooms: Regrettably, the lack of cleanliness extended to the rooms as well. The linens appeared worn and stained, and the bathroom showed signs of inadequate cleaning. It was evident that the housekeeping staff had not paid attention to detail, leaving a feeling of discomfort and unhygienic conditions.
5. Poor Customer Service: To make matters worse, the customer service at the hotel was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive to guest needs. Requests for assistance were met with indifference, leaving guests feeling ignored and undervalued.

Exceeded expectations for cleanliness, sleep quality and staff helpfulness! Stayed for two nights and loved it; the location in proximity to SFO is great. Used the app to pick my room and bypass the line and everything was smooth. Our room on the 8th floor was quiet and really comfortable, the bed was great and offered a delightful nights sleep. Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly every time we saw them in passing, and the breakfast crew was as well. We ate breakfast at the buffet and I can’t see what people are complaining about, the food was good and plenty of choices were on offer. The chef even offered to make us omelettes which we didn’t take him up on but really appreciated. We had a food and beverage credit because of status but even if we didn’t, $25 is not bad for a hotel buffet in SanFran. It was a great stay and I will certainly return and recommend. I did not use the shuttle, so I can’t comment on the process, but it wasn’t an expensive Uber to SFO.

Overnight stay. Shuttle available till 0030, which is one of the main reasons I chose this place since we arrived around 2345 and waited 20 minutes for the shuttle. Shuttle back to the airport was prompt.
Rooms now are very dated.
This was a breakfast inclusive rate and the system is a bit bizarre since you still need to sign a cheque/bill even though it is buffet and pre-paid but the expect you to pay a tip for a random amount. A bot disappointing but I guess it is the American system.
Since the price was ok and the main thing we needed was the shuttle, this was ok for us. There are better hotels around for this price point but not all have regular shuttles.

I had a layover of 8 1/2 hrs due to air Canada changing my flight 3 times on my return from hawaii. To cancel and rebook would had cost me double the original booking fee I had paid which I believe the airline did on purpose to screw more money out of me. I decided to go to a hotel instead of serving my time at the airport. Hilton was just the best in accommodating me as they charged me a minimal fee to stay in their hotel. Even though I showed up early they gave me the room and help me catch up on my much needed sleep. Thank you Hilton for your hospitality and making this return trip easier on me.

Sorry to say this, but avoid all food at this hotel. Shuttle service and free 7 days of parking, and sleep quality cannot be beat. Eat before you arrive at night to sleep and then airport food before boarding.
