This is a tough place to review.... The rating one gives is influenced by so many outside factors though some are internal. So it's tough to find a reasonable cost clean and nice and secure location in Burbank. Personally I would recommend another but the cost at that location is a third more than this location, thought that one has a better location going for it as well. See my other Burbank, hotel review from this trip. So this hotel doesn't have as nice an secure feeling neighborhood, it does have Franks Restaurant attached which is not open but is a fun thing to look at, it's like it just closed and everything inside looks like it's open for business, that's cuz so many movies and tv shows use it for filming, there is a list posted on the window, fun and interesting thing to look at while staying here. The front desk was friendly on check in though I had to wait for them to return from the store. The rooms are upgraded at some point not that long ago, though you get the feeling while the hotel tried, it can't keep up with a clientele that sometimes you get the feeling at this hotel beats up the rooms a bit. Some of the furniture though not that hold isn't handling that well. You get the feeling that though the room is kept clean it still is somehow dirty it's hard to describe, and the sirens on the street during the night I guess either added or detracted from the atmosphere here. I don't feel like I would bring my family here though it was a good place to overnight as I attended a Dodger game with not a horrific commute to the stadium or other nearby Burbank locations. The bed was ok, but I can't say I slept well and the shower does have low water pressure and towels are small and a bit worn. So yes, for the area and for the price I kinda have to give it a 4, because it could be so much worse, though I'm not sure I would personally stay again and keep in my pursuit of the ultimate in mid priced but great Burbank accommodation.

We went in late July. The person checking us in was very nice.
The room was a bit run down but overall clean. Definitely needs a new shower head (zero water pressure).
It is loud outside but since it was hot we had the AC running so that helps drown out the noise. Parking was good (probably we got there around 8pm) and there were only a couple spots left (some were reserved but that was for a restaurant that not longer is open). We did find a roach when closing the curtains (it's a motel so I guess they make their way in?). Good location for Universal Studios. Overall it was ok-not the best, but not the worst.

I spent six nights at this wonderful little motel (room doors open to the outdoors). Commitments took me from downtown LA to Santa Clarita & Santa Barbara, so this was a perfect central location & so close to Burbank Airport. The refrigerator & microwave served well for restaurant leftovers, the room was clean, the bed so comfortable, the soaps, shampoos and lotions were lovely, & the staff treated me like family. The only things missing were an alarm clock and a tall closet for dresses, but wake up calls and door hooks made up for those. The price is the best for the value in Burbank.

This hotel is a five minute walk from my daughter’s apartment and I really wanted it to be as great as the other reviews said it was but it was not. Perhaps my experience was a fluke.
The positives: location. There is a great park across the street. The guy at the front desk was very nice.
The negatives: the lampshade was broken, there was a hole kicked in the bathroom door, the cupboards had crumbs and even food was left in one of the cupboards, the hair dryer was off the wall and filthy. I had to wipe smudges off the door and door handle. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes- this may be from people smoking outside the rooms because there is a pretty significant gap under the door. The walls are pretty thin. You can hear televisions, music , walking from other rooms easily. The king bed sloped to the middle.
Take note that the restaurant “Franks” is closed.
Another member of our family stayed here a few days before and her room was okay, so maybe I just got a bad room. But the whole place seemed sketchy and dirty to me. If you read my other reviews you will see that I am an honest but not typically overly critical reviewer.

Upon arriving was notified that the 2 rooms we booked for our family of 6 had only 1 bed in each room.we were going to universal the next day and it was late so we had no choice but to figure it out.they offered to change our room the next day.T arrival we noticed we were in a pretty shay part of town and this was a very old motel the outside was not very inviting.fast forward To our new rooms and pictures were in the floor that obviously fell off and didn’t get rehung switches were broken the room was in need of some refurbishing no microwave.the internet was horrible.will never stay there again was very noisy thing clanging in the wall. All er could get in one room was scalding hot water.you don’t even get you pay for here.run away!!!!!!

Her stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean and staff was wonderful. Next time when we go to Universal Studios I'll make sure we stay at that hotel again. Some of the hotels around Universal are not the best as we have reserved a few and knew we would never go back to them again.

We were in town for a funeral at Mt. Sinai. This is a great hotel. Friendly staff. It's close to everything we needed to do. Unit was very clean. It looks like it was recently remodeled. Very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Microwave & mini fridge in room. And it was very nice to have a restaurant on the premises as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Great value for the money. Clean, comfy beds. The room windows open for fresh air which is rare and a must for me. Safe location. Super friendly manager and staff. Perfect for the solo woman traveler.

Excellent place to meet our needs for an overnight transfer in Burbank. Desk held our reservation for later arrival (2330), no problem. Kind front desk staff. Clean and quiet accommodation with ample parking in courtyard arrangement, so felt secure. TV did not work--flat screen HDMI incompatible with Spectrum high def coding; we did not need it, just needed sleep, so did not complain. Our room (104; I think it's a rare case) had window facing sidewalk externally; not at all a problem for us, but people spending more time in room might be reluctant to keep blackout curtain closed when lights inside would make you a zoo exhibit.

We had lots of flight issues and I had to call several times to change my reservation. Not only did Alfredo happily work with me, but saved us a bit too. I won't stay anywhere else in Burbank. Friendly helpful staff and a really nice hotel. Win, win! I'd give them 10 stars.
