I asked for a wake-up call at 9:30am because I worked late the night before. I was awoken at 6:30am by an old couple in the room next to me. He was coughing so loudly (he woke me from a dead sleep) and then continued to talk loudly because they both probably had hearing problems. I gently knocked on the door and asked them to please talk a little softer as I was still trying to sleep, which they kindly did. The real problem was, I had a Suite and the kitchen window faced the morning sun. so the sun was shining right through the window (and the Safari's cheap $5 blinds) right into the room and the bed. It was almost like the light was turned on in the room. I call and complained and they sent someone over to nail a blanket up over the window to block out the bright sunlight. By the time all this happened, it was 8:00am and I couldn't go back to sleep. I was so exhausted from not getting enough sleep, I rear-ended someone in an accident because I was so tired. A Terrible experience all the way-around.

Hotel's Favorite
The Safari Inn exceeded our expectations. The staff always worked extremely well to make sure that everything we needed was taken care of. I often read these reviews, and see many good and bad things spoken of hotels I have nothing but praise for this hotel. I'm not picky but I do keep my eyes open when I stay at a hotel and I can tell you there's nothing I can say that was negative. The staff was not only helpful to me, but also to my wife and 8 year old son helping him feel comfortable also. They never made me feel like I was asking for too much and they were always willing to help. We only had a short stay at the Inn but I can guarantee we will come back again. I read these reviews to check on a hotel just like you are reading my review now hopefully this will help make your decision easier. Treat people with respect and you will be amazed with how you will be treated in return.

We totally recommend the Safari in Burbank! From the moment we stepped into the office to register and collect our keys we knew that this was a friendly place. The woman at the desk gave us a room that she knew would be quiet and it definitely was. We could hear no one, not even traffic. The Safari and also has a shuttle available and we used it to get to and from Universal Studios. Both of the shuttle drivers that we had were wonderful men that were friendly, helpful and made us feel right at home. It seemed as if they truly wanted to get to know the people who are using the shuttle. Awesome guys, so remember to tip them well! When we checked out we let the woman at the front desk know that this was a place that we truly enjoyed. It had good vibes! They also have several large posters on the side of their office wall of movies or tv shows that filmed there. Great pool area also! Very clean updated rooms and we could tell that the room cleaners definitely paid attention to details! We would not hesitate to return there. Plenty of free parking too!

When booking our trip to Universal studios we wanted everything to be convenient for us! Safari inn did not disappoint us. Flew in to Burbank Airport, got a rental car (which we really didn't need) we got shuttled around to all the local spots. Staff was very friendly, the pool was amazing on those hot days. We will visit again, I will highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

First of all, the location is great if you want to go to the Universal Studios. A free shuttle is offered. However, order it in advance, otherwise, the time of travel is limited to what is left. A free shuttle to the Burbank airport is also offered, but Los Angeles Airport is far away and takes money and time. In the vicinity, some nice restaurants are found. The Safari inn is just beside a road, but in the rooms, it was very quiet. Swimming pool is a bit more noisy. Overall a bit an older hotel, but that wasn't an issue for us, seen that the rooms were clean and rather modern. Staff is very helpfull.
