Amazing stay. Rooms were great. Pool and hot tub definitely something nice to enjoy. Staff were kind, warm and very friendly. Very convenient location while in town. Close to a supermarket, coffee and a few restaurants. Can't wait to be back.
Perfect location for business with entertainment industry leaders in the area. Convenient with a supermarket facing the hotel, and easy and fast access to the airport and lovely street restaurants and cafés like “Lou -French on the Block” for amazing pastries. The hotel renovations bring chic, comfort back at the foreground of the experience. Lovely, smart and convenient.
What a fantastic stay. From booking over the phone directly, and from arrive through departure, Jerry took such good care of us. Really, it was the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, and Jerry was the reason. Wonderful!
Likes: Very friendly and helpful folks, even to the valets who remembered my name. Car service very swift, and the bottled water was a nice perk. Hotel was quiet when it was time to wind down at night. Solid Wi-Fi, clean linens, nice decor, and comfortable beds. Adequate plug ins for devices. Fast elevator service. Dislikes: I was very disappointed in the condition my room. One of the soap dispensers was broken off the wall and left in the shower caddy. I found it upon check in. I reported it twice; it wasn't repaired. Further, the bottle was empty and never refilled when the room was serviced so we showered with shampoo the entire stay. I reported a broken curtain pull, slow running sink and tub; tub drain tended to. Sheers on the window are frayed and black out blinds dirty. Dirty hand prints on the bathroom door. Dirty sliding door runners. Housekeeping poor - at least for this room - for a hotel at this price point, or perhaps I got a bad room. BIG pet peeve: NO safety/grab bar on the wall for the shower. If you're going to have a tub shower, please consider adding a grab bar. The tub side is high and there is NO anti-slip on the tub floor. Many hotels are opting for walk in showers these days; I am looking for that in the future. I had far higher expectations given the clientele at this property and the 4-diamond rating. Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. I won’t be returning.…
My family and I just returned from our first trip to California. This hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a one bedroom suite. We couldn’t hear anything from the street nor other rooms. Be careful of the shower door as you can get your fingers caught closing it. There’s a supermarket across the street and a great breakfast spot called Bea Bea’s. Everyone that worked there were super nice and helpful. Most of the attractions were like 30-45 minutes away. I will stay here again.
Fantastic boutique, the service is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful!!!! They are spacious, very clean and well decorated. The downstairs lobby bar is comfortable. Loved anticipating my needs throughout. Check this boutique out!
We have stayed at the Amarano many times before but this time when we arrived after a long drive, we were told the king room we reserved was not available. The hotel staff was very nice but they would not give us another room for free because it was an upgrade. We ended up paying for an upgraded room at half of but still! We were also given the option of a room with two double beds or an ADA room but we ended up going with the upgrade…if you can’t give us the room we reserved, I think the upgraded room should be free. Period. Also, the mattresses are not very comfortable and my husband who has some lower back pain had to make a makeshift bed using the small couch and a chair. One last thing is that you can ask for water but it is in small plastic bottles. I would hope that this hotel could take some steps toward sustainability by providing a refillable water station in the lobby or at least boxed water (no plastic). Ps - the valets were super nice.…
We used Hotel Amarano to set up a wedding room block for friends and family, and we could not have chosen a better place to call home base. Laurie in sales, and the entire staff from the valet to the concierge, were unbelievably accommodating and friendly during our entire stay. Everyone loved their rooms and the amenities. We would definitely recommend anyone stay at the hotel whatever the occasion.
Fantastic staff, luxurious room, delicious food and well stocked bathroom. I have nothing to say except if you have a chance and need a great hotel in the Valley, Amarano should be your first choice. Thanks for the great stay.
Hotel staff are incredible here. Friendly in a helpful way and good energy throughout the hotel. Love the hotel bar and the rooms . Stayed for 11 days for work and will always remember this hotel fondly ! Room service was very prompt and good wine selection .
