I had an amazing time during my stay at Coast Anabelle Hotel. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided great customer service.
Kudos to the Housekeeping staff for keeping our room clean during our stay. It felt so good to walk in to a clean room after a long day at Universal Studios. Housekeeping staff did an amazing job in cleanliness to our room. Thank You Housekeeping staff!
Also the Shuttle Service Staff were amazing. Since I arrived to the Hotel, I had requested shuttle service to and from Universal Studios to the Hotel. The shuttle staff were very friendly and punctual. Thank you Shuttle Service Saff!
Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and I would recommend everyone to stay here when visiting Universal Studios. The staff are friendly, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very big with a nice shower. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank Coast Anabelle!

My 3 daughters and I stayed at the Coast Anabelle hotel for 2 nights in September in a Deluxe (600 sq ft room) king room on the 3rd floor. I travel in a wheelchair and was delighted to find out the elevator and wide hallways easily made my stay a wonderful one. Hats off to Peachy, Ingrid, Aaron, Ernesto and last but not least, the amazing Mr Luis who drives the shuttle to and from the airport and Universal studios. He was so very helpful, lifting my wheelchair in and out of the shuttle. Giving instructions on how to get to the Burbank airport, the local CVS as well as various restaurant options that were close to the hotel.Luis is a gold mine of good information about the area and knows a lot about the history of the area. He drove through nice areas on the way to Universal and pointed out a variety of landmarks. He is a gem and a gentleman. We would come back merely based upon his great service! Hats off to Luis! The room was wonderful, the tub could be higher, but it's okay. the shower was really great with a rain water feature and a regular shower head as well. The beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed!).The onsite Olive restaurant makes the perfect poached eggs and country potatoes. The cheese covered fries are excellent as well and could feed an army of hungry people! We loved our visit at the Coast Anabelle Hotel, the only downside was that the pool was at their sister hotel and wasn't very warm at all, so my girls were slightly disappointed by that and declined to swim in it. Overall though, we were delighted with our stay and we will be visiting again on our next vacation to the area. Blessings and best wishes to all of the Coast Anabelle Hotel staff, you do honor to yourselves & your employer!

For years my wife and I have stayed at the Coast Anabelle's sister property, the Safari Inn, which is next door. We've always been satisfied with the experience.
As a Coast Awards member we were offered a discount to stay at one of this small chain's properties. We decided to use the discount to offset the extra cost of staying at the more upscale Anabelle Hotel.
The hotel is very comfortable. While the Safari in is most satisfactory, the Anabelle provides an upgrade experience that I would characterize as 4, as opposed to 3 star.
The rooms are well appointed, including three, upholstered chairs, comfortable beds and a bathroom that includes a double shower.
The restaurant is very good and reasonable priced. The staff is friendly.
My wife and I highly recommend this property, as well as the affiliated Safari Inn for those looking for less expense.
Both properties provide comfortable stays during the two-to-three times per year that we visit our children and grandchildren in Burbank.

We chose this hotel mainly because of the free shuttle service and free parking. The hotel is out dated and located on a main road. I heard sirens each night we stayed there. Our room was close to the stairwell, and I could hear the door slam shut every time someone used it. The water pressure could’ve been much stronger. Even with several light fixtures in the room, it still felt dim. The TV was older and not as easy to navigate. We probably would have recommended this hotel to others, despite some of its drawbacks, had it not been for 2 main incidents. First, I witnessed a staff member from housekeeping leave the lobby restroom without washing her hands after flushing and exiting a toilet stall. She didn’t even care that I saw her. Secondly, we found a nasty stain and a long strand of dark hair in the middle of the bed sheet on our first night. I showed my photo of the stain to the employees and they were just as grossed out as we were. Let’s just say it was a very unpleasant night of very little sleep. The next morning we were exhausted and completely disgusted by the whole experience. The manager called our room and apologized for our experience. She offered us 10% off our remaining 2 nights, which I found to be very lacking and not appropriate for what we’d been put through. When I asked if she could do better than 10% off considering the circumstances, she said she could only offer to move us to a suite. I explained to her that moving rooms at this point would be an additional inconvenience since we would have to pack and unpack again, and we had already wiped down everything with antibacterial wipes and sprayed everywhere with Lysol (thank goodness we started doing this since the pandemic because who knows what else was left uncleaned by housekeeping). In the end, we were given just 10% off our remaining 2 nights and a 10% off one time use discount at the adjoining restaurant. And while nothing will ever really make up for having to sleep in someone else’s soiled bedding, offering us at least a free night stay would have taken some of the sting away and shown us that management understands how unacceptable something like this is. 10% off comes across like they don’t understand how unethical and unhygienic it is to make a bed without switching out soiled bedding used by previous guests for clean ones meant for new guests. What really kills me is that they have a display of awards in their lobby for cleanliness, and yet some employees don’t always wash their hands after using the restroom and they don’t always put clean bedding out for new guests. Based on our experience and on management’s response and handling of the situation, we do not recommend staying at the Coast Anabelle Hotel.

This hotel is a gem! It was just excellent in every respect. Only 3 miles (but 15 min.) from Universal Studios, we chose it after looking at various options in the area. The room was on a standard of a much more expensive one. (We had a standard double queen.) Every detail ranged from very good to exceptional. The bathroom was huge, as was the walk-in shower, which had 2 shower heads and excellent quality, mounted shampoo/condition/body wash dispensers - even a seat. Also, there was a long counter with 2 wash basins and sort of a landing/storage area at the entry. That would keep the sink area from getting too cluttered, which would have been hard to do anyway, given the size and length of the countertop. The location is in a really pleasant quasi-residential/business area of Burbank. For convenience, a bar/restaurant is on the premises, but there are several great neighborhood type restaurants within walking distance as well. There was a very convenient, large fridge in the room. The coffeemaker made excellent Starbucks coffee. There were also 2 very plush terry robes in the closet. 3 functional chairs with a serviceable desk/table, rounded out the sizeable room. I'd have to search hard for a complaint, and even then it would be very minor. The bathroom towels were a little coarse (not as full and soft as one might expect given how high end everything else was. I would absolutely recommend this property and will prioritize staying at other Coast properties in the future, given this experience.

Anabelle Coast Hotel is in a great location, close to freeways, studios, shops and restaurants. I've been staying there for several years now. I like the central lobby, feels safer than an open motel. Restrooms are right inside the door, so if you've been driving awhile they are a welcome convenience. Staff is always friendly. Only quibble I have is they are only refreshing rooms every three days, so if you want clean towels you have to track down a housekeeper or call the front desk. Full trash cans are annoying, but there's no place to empty them. We were close to running out of bar soap. The hotel is saving money by cutting back on daily cleaning, and it is annoying.

I am very picky when it comes to hotels and the overall execution was flawless. The free shuttle and pick up from the Burbank airport was great -- we were the only ones arriving after 9 pm so it was like having a private transfer. Saved so much $$$. I also received a courtesy call from the front desk when we landed so they can give us instructions to find the driver. That was greatly appreciated! We used the free shuttle service to and from the airport and also to universal. Driver was always prompt and early. Front desk was always nice. Housekeeping only comes on day 3 of your stay but I wasn't surprised since they mentioned this up front. Overall the stay was comfortable and this is a great central location if you are visiting universal or the Warner Bros studio tour.

Hotel was a wonderful experience. Usually stay in Pasadena but because of location, and free parking, decided on this one instead. Coffee maker in the room was handy, housekeeping took care in cleaning and overall it was a very nice comfortable stay. Tried the restaurant one morning for breakfast. It was also very good. Thank you SO much for making my stay in Burbank so nice.

Very nice hotel and close to Warner Bros and Universal. They have a free shuttle, but make sure to book in advance. I didn't, but the very nice woman at the front desk told us how to take the Burbank city bus (at the corner in front of the hotel) to Universal which was very inexpensive. It only took 15 minutes to get there by the bus. Room was clean and comfortable. However, next time I will ask for a room on the top floor as family above us had running/jumping children that woke us up in the mornings.

This is a great small hotel, with lovely staff who made you feel very welcome. The room (twin queen) was well proportioned / large and the beds were large and comfortable - some firmer pillows would not go amiss but it takes nothing away from the overall accommodation. Chairs, a table and small fridge were welcome useful additions to the room. The large bathroom was clean and well maintained. We found the restaurant to be very good, with excellent breakfasts served when we used it. The transportation options to get to key attractions (we used it to get to and from Universal) was a huge benefit, and the drivers were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would recommend to others.
