I grew up in SY Valley and come back to see family & friends often. We have RV and often bring it but decided to stay at Marriott for Christmas visit to make it easy. We are Gold in their system and have stayed in many Westin & Marriott Properties including this one in the past. We had nice 4th floor room with tiny balcony overlooking the area. No issues but the room was NOT clean. Some mold in shower, dust on shelves & in drawers. The decor is minimalist - 12” wide closet area, 2 drawers & shelves for those of us who like to unpack. The safe was locked and clock alarm went of at 6 am our first night. It seemed to us the staff was just overburdened- even tho it was not full, they just couldn’t get to everything. We called for cleaning in bathroom and more towels and they were promptly handled but I felt we were asking a lot when in reality t was basic stuff. The staff we talked with were pleasant and apologetic but it was simply not up to what we think of as upper level facility. NOTE - they do not have room service or valet parking at this time. I’m sure it’s for lack of employees. Hopefully these issues will resolve as Covid becomes less a problem. In summery - nice folks, we’ll intentioned but cannot keep up standards.

From start to finish, we had a fantastic stay. It began with Fernanda being so responsive and friendly on the chat to my questions. Sabrina was also so fantastic helping us with our room request. I was denied a Suite Night Upgrade through the central system, which was frustrating since we decided to include my mother on our trip. Sabrina was able to check real time availability and help us upgrade to a suite the day of check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Upon arrival, Honey at the front desk was so warm and welcoming, that we felt like we were being greeted by family. This is the type of care that keeps our family coming back to Marriott. We appreciate these fabulous employees for their professionalism and commitment to customer service.

Having read some negative reviews going into the reservation, I was concerned about cleaning procedures and staffing. We experienced none of those problems during our five night stay. Check-in was prompt and professional. Our standard room overlooked the McMurray Road, so no noise problem with the 101 Freeway. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't expect the room to be cleaned each day, but service was in the hallway each morning if we needed anything. Breakfast each morning was well staffed and the food came out promptly and was well prepared. During our stay there was a convention group for a couple days. The bar was well attended on those nights and the outdoor areas, despite the cool temps, were well used. We avoided those crowds but again, staff wore masks as did most of the guests when in the common areas of the hotel. We had a very pleasant stay and would stay there again given the chance.

Dirty, Smelly Rooms, Horrible Customer Serice. Honestly, Don't Skimp by choosing this hotel. If you are going to take a chance traveling, choose a hotel that provides great service and clean rooms. This hotel does not and does not care

We stayed for two nights in a King Suite. It was overpriced to begin with because it was over Thanksgiving weekend but our first night we head to our room to find heavy duty fans in the hall outside attempting to dry out a leak from an ice machine. Then we find out our room is a handicapped room which made it very awkward and lacked a bathtub. We were only given thin small “batt” towels. Then we discovered many wet spots on the floor from the leak in the hallway. The fans were so loud that we could hear them in the room. Our granddaughter stayed in our room the first night on the fold out couch that appeared to have not been cleaned. No blanket and only two bottom sheets on it. Needless to say, we changed rooms the next day and got a normal room that was so much nicer that it just bugged me more that we had endured the first one. We won’t be back.
